Few minutes before ILion brings Sophia to his room..

"Ne, Grethel, what do you think happened to the human girl?" Hanzel innocently asked his older sister while watering the roses of the Palace's garden.

"I don't know and I don't really want to know," answered Grethel pouting.

Hanzel just smiled by how his sister answered him. Napaghahalataang nagseselos ito. She has something for the King that should be conceal at any cost. They were both vampires, but just one of the ordinaries. They can not fight, no special powers other than healing, and their job is to keep the King's belogings safe.

"You're pouting onee-san," Hanzel teasingly said.

"No I'm not," said Grethel whose obviously guilty.

Hanzel dropped the watering can. "Yes you are."

"No. I don't!" Grethel exclaimed trying to hide her blushing face by looking to other direction.

"It's obvious nee-chan. Why do you keep on denying your feelings?" and the little Hanzel transformed into a mischievous handsome prince-like guy.

Lumapit siya kay Grethel na nakatalikod sa kanya para sana ito yakapin nang makita ang hari na  buhat-buhat si Sophia na parang prinsesa. Base sa tinatahak nilang daan ay patungo sila sa silid ng kamahalan.

Suddenly, he got curious. "Let's go!" Impit na sabi ni Hanzel sa kapatid tsaka ito hinila sa kung saan.

"Wha--?!"

"I just saw His Highness and the human girl!" Explained Hanzel to the confused Grethel.

"What!? Where? Just now?!" Heart beating so fast, Grethel transformed into her true maiden form. With a gold-like-the-sun color of curly hair, Grethel is really a beauty.

Kung titignan silang dalawa ay para silang galing sa Royal Family of vampires. Hanzel and Grethel are already orphans. Their parents died in a war where different clans and races were involved hundred years ago.

"They're going to the King's quarter," said Hanzel that made Grethel got furious...and more jealous.

"Why that girl! I won't let this!"

Several minutes before Hanzel and Grethel followed the King and Sophia...

Kuromaro, who had just finished slaughtering the vampires that his King told him to do, is now on his way to his King's quarter.

"Weaklings. They can't protect the King," Kuromaro said in his mind.

Kuromaro is the King's knight. He is an S Class vampire who trained hard to be the King's aid. He never listen to other's order aside from his King.

"What the fvck! Argh!"

Natigil siya sa paglalakad nang makadinig ng isang pamilyar na boses. And right there he saw Kurasuma; also the King's aid. Kuromaro and Kurasuma both serve as the King's knights. However, Kuromaro is the one who always stays by the King's side, while Kurasuma do the King's secret orders such as killing those who oppose Him from outside the palace.

"Kurasuma," Kuromaro called the other knight.

"Huh?!" Kurasuma turned his way, "K-Kuromaro," he said stuttering.

"What happened?" Asked Kuromaro with a cold tone.

"Nothing," answered Kurasuma trying to avoid an eye contact with Kuromaro.

Silence was all over the place. Kahit hindi nila aminin o sabihin ay ramdam nila ang inggit sa isa't-isa. Being both the King's aid, they are like the sun and the moon who does not work at the same time.

"Ah! Onee-san! Wait for me!" Both the knights heard from behind.

"No! It's the King we're talking about! I can't just let that human deceive my King!" Grethel shouted as she runs furiously.

"The King?!" Kuromaro and Kurasuma said behind their heads.

Nang papadaan na ang nagaapoy na sa galit at selos na si Grethel ay hinarang siya agad ni Kuromaro. Agad natigilan si Grethel nang makilala kung sino ang na sa harapan niya.

"Huh? Onee-san!" Tawag ni Hanzel na biglang natakot nang makitang kaharap ng kapatid niya ang S Class na aid ng Hari.

"What did you just said about the King?" Tanong ni Kurasuma sa seryosong tinig kaya nahintakutan lalo si Hanzel.

"T-The King's knights?" Asked Grethel to herself.

"What's happening? What about the King and the human girl?" Asked Kuromaro with a piercing gaze on his eyes.

"N-No, it's nothing Kuromaro-sama--"

"The human girl," said Grethel that made Hanzel halt.

"Stop it nee-san. They might get the wrong idea--"

"What 'wrong idea'? Speak what you saw or I'll rip you mouth out," said Kuromaro with a terrifying aura at the moment.

"G-Gomenasai Kuromaro-sama, Kurasuma-sama but it's nothing. I'm telling the truth!" Said Hanzel lowering his head.

Hindi niya akalaing makakasalubong nila ang dalawang knight ng hari. Alam niyang seryoso ang mga ito sa trabaho nila at kaunting problema lang ay papatay ang mga ito maprotektahan lang ang Hari.

"W-We just saw the King carrying the human girl to his arms! It's like she's ordering the King do it! She's deceiving the King! I think she's really a witch!" Pagsisinungaling ni Grethel gawa na din ng hindi niya na alam ang dapat na sabihin at naguumapaw na siya sa selos kay Sophia.

I'll get rid of her and this moment is just...perfect! Grethel wickedly said behind her back.

Without any word, Kuromaro rushed to the King's quarter. Kurasuma, Grethel, and Hanzel were left dumbfounded by Kuromaro's expression before he left. That just made the siblings in terrified state.

However, Kurasuma has a different reaction to what Grethel said. He know she's lying. That is because He knows His Highness and Sophia's relationship.

"What did you just said?! Why did you lied to Kuromaro-sama?!" Natatakot para sa kapatid na tanong ni Hanzel. "Say something! What you did is dangerous!"

"You have no any business to whatever the King is doing. You are just a mere vampire. You better explain everything to Kuromaro before he kills Sophia or be killed by His King," pahayag ni Kurasuma na mas nagpatindi ng takot na nararamdaman ni Hanzel para sa kapatid.

Natahimik lang si Grethel sa tindi ng takot na nararamdaman. Agad na hinawakan ni Hanzel ang kamay ng kapatid.

"Let's better follow him before he reaches the King's quarter and do something stupid! Let's go!" Saad ni Hanzel tsaka hinila na patakbo ang kapatid.

"O-Okay!" Grethel replied.

"What a pain," said Kurasuma who just followed the siblings.
