Scary Beautiful Creatures

Chapter 20

"Niall? Babe?" I said shaking him.

He screamed and jerked up. I saw the fear in his eyes and I made him look into my eyes. He calmed down when he saw me.

"Niall are you ok?" I asked.

He didn't answer me he just hugged me.

"I had the worst dream ever."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

He let go of me and looked into my eyes.

"I was fighting the convention, and um... One of them got you. Then they-they."

Niall started to tear up.

"It's ok. I'm right here."

"They killed you."

"It's fine. It was just a dream."

I laid down beside him and kissed his cheek.

"I love you. Please don't leave me." He said.

"I couldn't even imagine leaving you." I said.

He hugged me like he was never going let go. He rubbed my arm and pressed his lips against my forehead. I slowly drifted into sleep, but before I did I swear I heard Niall say:

"It could happen. It could. I have to keep you safe."

When I woke up I was inside, on the couch. I was soaked! What? I saw Niall on the floor so I got up and laid on top of him.

"Niall?" I said softly.

I waited a few minutes.

"Niall." I said a little louder into his ear.

He groaned.

"Niall!" I screamed and his eyes shot open.

"Oh my God! You're wet!" Niall screamed.

"Yah. Why?"

He laughed.

"Do you know that you sleep walk?"

".....No."

"Well you do, and you walked right into a pond."

"What? Why didn't you change my clothes?"

"I didn't want I wake you up and I didn't think you wanted me to."

"Haha. Aww you're so sweet."

He covered himself with a blanket and closed his eyes. I checked the time and it was 7:00 a. m. Well I'll go change and go eat. I took out an oversized sweater and some shorts. I slipped them on and went into the kitchen. I got a glass of water. I sipped it slowly, then I realized something. It's really quiet........a little to quiet for me to be in a house with 4 vampires that don't sleep.
