"Alright you slackers, today is the day. Today we will finally separate the boys from the men. The day heroes are made and losers are beaten down. The day that you'll tell your children about. The day our story is written in stone. The-"

"Oh my god would you hop off your soapbox you idiot!" Laurel snapped throwing her rolled up magazine at me.

The wad of gossip hit me straight in the face, but I needed that. I was just hyping up my band of followers before my epic plan came into effect.

"Wasn't necessary but thank you Laurel. You're always a peach to work with." I stated sarcastically before commencing again. "I want to thank you again for gathering here. This is where you all will direct Nate to." I said gesturing to the astro room.

"It reeks of mildew in here." Ezra grimaced covering his nose.

"Bro, I thought that was you. I've been tacking these on you. Sorry." Reese apologized holding up a few pine tree shaped car freshners.

"I fart in public once and I'm labeled the stinky kid for life!" Ezra groaned shaking his head. "I thought a new country would clear my name. But apparently I'm the stinky kid overseas as well. What happened to the land of the free and the home of the brave? So let my farts be free and be brave and accept them!" Ezra ranted hysterically losing his cool.

"Chill Aussie boy. No one's judging you and when did you get so insecure?" Laurel said surprisingly taking the high road and not teasing Ezra.

The same can't be said for Reese and I.

"Oh my god did you really fart in public? Dude you should just wear a paper bag over your face. That's embarrassing!" Reese laughed not at all concerned for Ezra's feelings.

"Y-you asked for freedom for your fart! Aw man you can't come back from that humiliation buddy." I laughed tearing up. I pat Ezra's shoulder after I sobered up enough. "You sir have just made my day."

"Screw you guys, I hate America!" Ezra snapped, pouting childishly.

"You and everyone else." Laurel rolled her eyes. Can't argue with facts though.

"Where's Hans at, he was supposed to meet us here?" Reese asked the question no one bothered to ask. Not even Laurel, who's Hans unofficial girlfriend.

"He texted me and said he had something to do before he got here. He also said he hated you Matey." Laurel informed us and hurting my feelings in the process.

"Liar!" I cried out offended.

"Fine." Laurel sighed, "But he should have." she shrugged.

"And you two are best friends? Some friendship." Ezra scoffed still bitter because he had to hold that title with Laurel. But I love them both equally and I couldn't choose.

Ezra was my best friend that would follow me blindly into battle. He would be sitting in a jail cell with me because we're two bad bitches.

But Laurel was the friend who would bail me out...and then beat me. She was rough around the edges but she knocked sense into my dysfunctional life.

While Laurel was my rock- Ezra was the scissors that helped me cut shit up.

How could I choose?

"Ezra we've been over this. You two are co-bestfriends. I need you two because let's face it, I'm a trainwreck and I need all the support I can get." I explained to him again.

"You can have her to yourself." Laurel butt in always the jokester. "I'm being completely serious. I've been trying to find a way out of this friendship. Take her....I beg of you."
