~ Killian ~
Ring! Ring!
My eyes burst open and I looked around the room. Emma was asleep beside me. I carefully slipped from her grasp and went to answer the door.
I opened it and found a man standing at the door. I looked at him curiously.
"Can I help you?" I asked.
He nodded, "I think I have the wrong address".
"Robin!" I heard Emma yell from behind me. I turned and she ran to hug the man.
He smiled and hugged her back. They pulled away and smiled at each other.
Robin? As in the guy that saved Emma?
"What are you doing here?" Emma asked as he walked in and I closed the door.
He sighed, "I decided to come check up on you, see how you're doing".
She smiled, "I'm doing good, thank you".
He looked around and spotted me. He smiled, "I don't believe we've met".
I shook my head, "I'm Killian, Emma's boyfriend".
"I'm Robin, it's nice to meet you" he replied and looked back at Emma.
"I'll go make you something to eat" Emma offered then left the room before he could refuse.
He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back, "Thank you for what you did".
He shrugged, "I saw she needed help, so I helped".
I shook my head, "She means the entire universe to me, I owe you great thanks...if you hadn't saved her, I would've lost her...that is a debt I could never repay".
He chuckled, "I admire how much you care for her...it means you love her".
"Do you have someone you care for?" I asked. He nodded, "Her names Regina".
I chuckled, "You look smitten just by the sound of her name".
He laughed, "Yeah...but that's love, right?". I nodded.
"Here! I made you something to eat" Emma said as she walked back into the room. He took the food from her and smiled.
"Thank you" he said and then took a bite.
"Thanks again for saving me" she said with a smile. He nodded, "You two sure throw around a lot of thank you's".
Emma laughed, "I owe you my life".
He shook his head, "You owe me nothing...I just wanted to make sure you were ok...and I wanted to give you my number in case you ever need it". He handed Emma a piece of paper.
"Thank you" she said as she took it from him.
He smiled, "I have to get going but I'm glad to see you're alright".
We smiled at him before he left. Once the door closed Emma turned to me.
"You okay?" She asked.
I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her waist. I nodded, "I'm just glad your heart still beats".
She blushed, "Me too".

We decided to drop by Neal's shop. We guessed he'd probably be there. Our excuse was that we were visiting Ruby, in case anyone asked.
We walked in and saw Ruby talking with a customer. She smiled and the customer left. She looked up and spotted us. She squealed and ran over to me. She immediately wrapped me in a hug.
"It's so weird seeing you back here" she said with a laugh.
I nodded, "It's weird being back".
I heard a familiar laugh. I turned and saw the last person I wanted to see, Ryan.
"Look who came crawling back" he said as he walked over to me.
"I knew you missed me" he said as he crossed his arms. I shook my head, "I came to visit Ruby, not you".
He chuckled, "Sure".
I sighed and looked back at Ruby, "How's it going?". She shrugged, "Pretty good".
"Is Neal here?" I asked.
She shook her head, "He was here early this morning but he said he had to go do something".
"Isn't it going to be hard for you guys if he isn't here?" I asked, trying my best to sound casual.
She nodded, "That's why Tamara stepped in for him...she offered to watch the shop for the next few days".
I nodded, "That's good, at least you guys have someone to look up to".
I turned to Killian and I could tell by the look on his face that he had the same suspicions as I did.
"Who's this pretty boy?" Ryan asked as he eyed Killian.
"None of your concern" Killian replied.
"This can't be your boyfriend, you couldn't get a donkey to date you" Ryan said as he looked at me. He started to laugh.
Killian stepped up to him and grabbed his arm. "As a matter of fact, I am her boyfriend...and I'm very protective, so I suggest you shut up with the comments and get back to your good for nothing job!".
Killian turned to Ruby and smiled, "No offence".
She chuckled, "None taken".
He looked back at Ryan, "Got it?". Ryan nodded and went back to work. I looked at Killian, "Are you crazy?!".
He nodded, "Maybe a little". I sighed, "You can't just go around yelling at everyone who shows me attitude". He nodded, "I can because you're my girlfriend".
"You guys are cute, but I seriously gotta go back to work" Ruby said with a laugh.
I turned to her and nodded, "It was great seeing you!". She nodded and went back around the counter.
I turned to Killian, "Let's get out of here". He nodded and we walked back to the car. He drove while I talked about my suspicions.
"Why would he need the next few days off? What could he be doing? Does it involve me? Or did he give up? Where is he though? He would need a pretty good cover up, right?" I rambled.
Killian laughed, "Emma, slow down...breathe...I'm sure he's off doing something, but we shouldn't worry about what he's doing...if he tries to come after you, I'll be more than happy to beat him...but until then, we should just try to continue to be, normal".
I laughed, "I'm everything but normal".
Killian shook his head, "Normal is boring....I'm talking about going back to our normal".
I smiled, "Sounds like a plan".
