~ Killian ~
We entered the bar and immediately started looking for Liam. Unfortunately, the only person there right now was Milah. I sighed and walked up to her with Emma beside me.
"Hey" I said to get her attention. She turned around and smiled.
"Hello" she said with a bigger smile.
"Where's Liam?" I asked, ready to end this conversation.
She moved the tray to her side and held it there. "He's in his office" she said disappointed. If she was looking for attention, she wasn't getting it from me.
I grabbed Emma's hand and headed to Liam's office. I knocked on the door and then slowly entered. He was sitting on his desk looking at a piece of paper with a very serious look on his face.
"Hey" I said as we walked in and closed the door. He looked up and his face immediately lit up.
"Come sit!" He said, gesturing to the chairs on the other side of his desk. We sat down.
"What's going on?" He asked.
I sighed, "We have to tell you something".
His facial expression dropped. "Why? What's going on?" He said as he leaned forward.
I chuckled, "It's good news, brother".
He smiled and took a deep breath in, "Thank god".
I laughed, "We wanted to tell you that...I proposed to Emma, we're engaged".
He had a blank expression on his face for a while. Then a smile appeared. He stood up and walked around the desk. We stood up as well and he wrapped us both in a hug.
"That's amazing news!" He said with happiness very evident in his voice.
Emma chuckled, "I'm glad you're okay with this".
He pulled away and smiled at her, "I wouldn't want anyone else to be my sister-in-law". Emma smiled and hugged him again.
He pulled away and gave us serious looks, "We'll celebrate tonight at me place...as for now, get back to work!". We nodded and left.

"So, how have you been?" Milah asked me as she leaned against the bar.
"Fine" I said as I kept my eyes on the drink I was making.
She shrugged, "How's Emma?".
I froze and looked up at her. I stared at her as I debated whether I should punch her or be nice.
I figured she couldn't be any harm. "She's great" I replied.
She chuckled, "Anything new happen?".
I smirked, "Yes actually, Emma and I are engaged".
He jaw dropped, "You're what?!".
I chuckled, "I proposed to Emma". I couldn't keep the smile off my face, and it wasn't just because I was proud to say it.
Milah quickly changed to a clam expression. "Are you sure you're ready to take this big of a step?" She asked as she looked down at the counter.
I nodded, "I've never been so sure of something in my entire life".
She chuckled, "You'd be surprised at how much you regret things later". She turned and walked away.
It took every once of my strength not to walk up to her and punch her. Flirting was one thing, but saying that I'd regret choosing to marry Emma?! That was a death sentence.
"You okay?"
I turned and saw Emma with a concerned look on her face. She put the tray on the counter and leaned against the bar.
I nodded, "I'm great...Milah's just flirting again, but I promise you have nothing to worry about".
She nodded, "I know". She smiled and reached her hand to mine. She wrapped her hand around mine and looked up at me.
I smiled back, "I love you". She smiled and giggled, "I love you too".
I reached over and grabbed a drink, I put it on the tray. Emma picked it up then went to serve it.
I smiled to myself. I wanted to marry Emma. I was sure of it.

"I'm nervous" I said as I stared out my window.
Killian chuckled, "Why?". I shrugged, "Now your brother will look at me as your fiancé...I just hope he still approves, and Elizabeth too".
Killian laughed, "Liam and Elizabeth love you, you're like family...you are family".
I looked away from the window and smiled at him. I watched him as he drove.
"You still really want to tell my parents?" I asked. He nodded, "Absolutely...call me old fashioned but I want to introduce myself to them as you're soon-to-be husband".
I laughed, "I hope it all goes well". He laughed, "I feel the same way about telling your parents that you feel about telling my brother and sister-in-law".
We pulled into the drive way and got out of the car. We walked up to the door and knocked. We waited for someone to answer.
Liam opened the door smiling, "Come in!". We smiled and walked in. Elizabeth was sitting on the couch holding Will. I immediately ran over to her and took Will from her. I smiled at Will, "Hey handsome!". Will smiled and stared at me.
"He likes you" Liam said as he walked over with Killian.
Elizabeth nodded, "It's like having another co-parent". I laughed, "I babysit, I won't be raising him anytime soon".
Elizabeth grinned, "But I heard you guys are getting married".
I blushed and looked at Killian. Killian nodded proudly. Liam patted Killian on the back, "You finally did it little brother!".
"Younger brother" Killian argued. "Yeah, yeah" Liam replied as he walked over to me. He smiled and took Will from me. I walked over to Killian and stood beside him.
"Congratulations!" Elizabeth said with a huge smile.
I giggled, "Thanks". Killian wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer. I smiled as he buried his face in my neck.
"Keep it appropriate" Liam said with a laugh. Killian pulled away and nodded at his brother.
"Let's eat!" Elizabeth said as she walked towards the kitchen. Everyone nodded and followed her.
They approved. That took a lot of stress and worry off of me. I smiled, this was going to be my family. I was going to officially have a family. And I couldn't be happier.
