Sleepover

Killian and Liam burst into the appartment laughing. Along with thier laughs, I heard an unfamiliar laugh. I looked up to see another guy walk in with them. He closed the door and followed Killian and Liam to the living room.

Killian smiled, "Emma, this is James, he's an old friend of my dad's". I nodded, "Hi". He looked at  me from head to toe and laughed. I felt a little self conscious and curled up a bit. James laughed, "You were right, she is gorgeous". I looked at Killian with questioning eyes. He blushed and scratched the back of his head nervously, "He asked me what you looked like". I smiled and leaned into him and rested my head on his shoulder. He let out a sigh of relief and rested his head on mine.

"So, what's new with the Jones brothers?...besides the women" James asked laughing. Liam chuckled, "Nothing much, my wedding is the most exciting and incredible thing happening right now". James chuckled, "Cool!". He laughed and looked around the room. I swear this guy was drunk or high or something, he wouldn't stop laughing.

"How about the bar?" he asked. Liam shrugged, "It's coming along...we have a new waitress, Emma". He looked at me a chuckled, "Cool". I sighed and looked at the time, it was 7:47. I turned to Killian, "I gotta go, I promised Ruby I would watch this movie with her at 7:30". I stood up and he followed me to the door.

I put my jacket on and turned to everyone else, "Bye!". They smiled and I opened the door. Killian stepped outside with me and closed the door.

"We're finally alone" he said with a small sigh and chuckle. I nodded, "But I have to go". He sighed, "Would you mind if I came with you? I still haven't met Ruby". I nodded, "If you want to, but we'd have to sleepover there". He shrugged, "That's ok". I smiled and he ran back inside for his stuff.

Soon he returned and we headed to Ruby's house. We pulled into the driveway and knocked on the door. Ruby opened it and smiled, then she noticed Killian. "Hey!" I said smiling nervously. She smiled, "Hey, Killian, right?". Killian nodded, "Yeah". He held his hand out, "Nice to see you again". Ruby nodded and shook his hand. "Come in!" She said once she let go of his hand. We all sat on the couch.

Suddenly we heard the door open, we all looked up to see Graham walking in. He ran over and sat on the other side of me, "Hey, Em!". I smiled and turned to him, "Hey!". "This is Killian, my boyfriend" I said gesturing to Killian. Graham's eyes went from playful and funny to serious and deadly. "Boyfriend?" he asked not breaking his gaze from Killian. I felt Killian tense beside me. "Stand down" I said laughing. Graham smiled and his eyes returned to playful and funny. "Sorry, Emma is like my little sister in a way". Killian smiled, "It's no problem, I'm glad she has you guys". Graham's eyes widened, he was impressed. We all looked back at the TV and watched the movie.

I woke up screaming. I felt a pair of arms immediately wrap around me. I calmed down a bit and toke deep breaths. I looked up at Killian, "I'm sorry". He sighed, "It's ok". He brushed some hair out of my face and I closed my eyes. After I was somewhat calm, I opened my eyes to see Killian smiling back at me. "It's ok...you're safe" he whispered. I nodded and sighed, "Did I wake anyone?". He shook his head, "Graham and Ruby are still sleeping in thier rooms". I sighed in relief, "Good".

"Lay back down, I'll help you fall back to sleep" he said and shifted around to make more room for me. I nodded and laid down in his arms. I sighed, "Thank you". I snuggled closer into his chest. "No problem, love" he whispered. I took deep breaths and slowly fell asleep.

I woke up again still in Killian's arms. I sighed and looked up connecting our eyes. He smiled, "Good morning, beautiful". I chuckled, "Morning".

I sat up and looked around, "Where is everyone?". He sat up, "Graham went to work and Ruby is in the washroom". I nodded and stood up, I walked to the kitchen and grabbed some toast. Killian smiled and walked over to join me. He wrapped his arms around my waist from behind me and rested his head on my shouler. I blushed and let out a small chuckle. That made him smile even more and he started kissing my neck. I giggled, "Killian!". He chcukled, "You're so cute". I blushed and focused back on the food I was making. Despite all my efforts, Killian continued to kiss my neck. I gave in and giggled.

"Get a room!"

We both stopped and looked over to see Ruby standing in the doorway with her hair dripping wet. I smiled, "Sorry". She shook her head and laughed, "You guys are cute," she stepped closer "but also disgusting". We laughed and she sat at the table. "What are you guys doing today?" Ruby asked as she pulled out a magazine off the middle of the table. "Well, I'm taking Emma out on a date at 8" Killian said smiling. We both turned to him. "You are?" I asked shocked. He nodded, "I am". I smiled and turned to Ruby, "He is". She chuckled and turned back to her magazine.

"Where?" I asked excited. He shook his head, "Sorry, love...it's a surprise". I faked a frown and then hugged him. "It's nothing too fancy though" he said looking down at the counter.

I reached out and lifted his chin, "I don't want fancy...I want you". He smiled and leaned in, connecting our lips.
