10 minutes before the end of lunch break, nasa rooftop pa rin si May at Xandro. Nag-inat ang dalaga tapos ay tumayo. Nakatitig lang si Xandro dito.

"Tara na Uy. Malapit na mag-time."

Hindi pa rin gumagalaw ang binata. Nakatingala lang ito kay May.

"Xandro?"

"Masarap 'yung dala mong tart ngayon ha? Sino ang gumawa?"

"Si Kuya."

"I see. Wala ka talagang talent sa pagluluto."

"Sorry naman kung hindi masarap 'yung tart na dala ko noong isang araw 'no pero I did my best pa rin sa paggawa nun no?"

"Oo na lang."

"Anong oo na lang?"

Tapos tumayo na ito at nauna ng maglakad papasok pero tumigil din ng malapit na ito sa pintuan.

"Partners tayo sa prom."

And he left her shocked.

"Ano daw? Uy! Xandro! Sandali!"

STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICE.

----LORILEI'S POV----

"Kamusta 'yung venue? Napa-reserve mo na ba, Lei?"

"Yes Ma'am."

"Good. How about the catering, Loviel?"

"Okay na po Ma'am."

"And the security? Na-assure mo na ba na safe ang venue, Yuan?"

"Yes Ma'am."

"Good. Now that everything is settled, pwede na kayong mag-relax but all of you must not escape the dance practice, okay? Here and on, the teachers will handle everything else. Dismissed."

May mga nag-inat at nagsihikab. Medyo puyat din kami dahil sa kaka-canvas ng mga bagay-bagay. Si Yuan kasi ang nagprisintang gawin ang preparation for prom. Mas gusto niyang 'yung trip ng mga students ang masunod para sulit ang prom. Kakaiba kasi 'yung nangyaring prom last year. Pinaubaya ng student council ang preparations sa teachers. Kontra dito kontra doon ang nangyari kaya 'yun, nagkahalo-halo ang ideas. Hindi tuloy nasulit ng last year fourth years ang prom.

The food is not for dinner kundi pang picnic. Puro finger foods ba naman. The venue is good for young professionals not for a dinner party. Kung hindi lang napili bilang main band and Deep Crimson, the whole promenade will be boring. They gave life to the event. Na-twist sa teenage life ang one-fourth ng party. That's why Yuan's goal is to make the upcoming event as memorable as possible. Hindi nga namin akalain na may ganitong sense of concern si Yuan towards the students.

Then there is Ms. Sanchez. Buti na lang siya ang napiling maging temporary adviser ng Student Council because she is somewhat considerate. Everything went well. Its not yet the time to think that everything is settled not until the date of the event will come pero sarap lang ng feeling na nabawasan na kami ng workload.

Ayra: Ahmm may dala kaming refreshments, pinahatid ni Ms. Sanchez, okay lang ba?

JD: Ayra? Lili?

Yuan: Thanks. Paki-distribute na lang.

Ayra: Sige po.
