Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Bee-

I smacked my hand across the alarm clock to make it shut up. Pushing the duvet off me I stood up and stretched, making a baby dinosaur noise as I did. I pulled on my dressing gown to cover my cold bare shoulders and looked at my clock. 6:30am. I smiled to myself. I was normally the early bird for school.

Walking out my bedroom and hopping down the stairs I reached the kitchen. There I poured myself a bowl of chocolatey squares and a small glass of orange juice. As I was eating I checked my phone for any messages or notifications.

3 Facebook notifications.

I tapped on the screen and they showed up.

Katy Brown, George Brown and Aaron Brown accepted your friend request.

They were my only friends. I'm such a loner.

After I finished eating I went upstairs and headed for my en suite to shower, get dressed and do my hair. I had got rid of some of my old clothes to get some money. Liz was going to take me clothes shopping tonight so I only had my underwear and one set of clothes. It consisted of a pair of sky blue leggings, a lilac polo shirt and my favourite zip up hoodie. I pulled on my battered trainers and started work on my hair. I think a simple look today, a ponytail will be fine. It was now 7am.

I heard some commotion coming from next door, guessing Aaron was up. I was getting rides to school now instead of walking which meant getting there later and having to deal with the hustle of people.

Half an hour later we were in the car pulling into the school's parking lot. When the engine died I jumped out the car and waited for Aaron. We walked in school together and made my way to my locker. I dumped the books I wouldn't need and went to my form room.

Everyone was already in there when I entered. When I opened the door all eyes were on me. Feeling uneasy under their piercing gazes I made my way over to my seat only to find it already taken by a girl with black hair. She had her back to me so I couldn't tell who I was. Sighing I sat down next to her.

Her head swivelled round at the sound of my presence. She smiled at me and I offered a small one on return.

"Hi Christie! How are you?" she asked me.

"Hi Phoebe. I'm good thanks. You?" I asked the raven haired girl.

"Great." she smiled again.

The teacher took the register to make sure everyone was in then the rest of the class chatted until first lesson.

BRING! BRING!

I grabbed my bag and stood up from my desk. Reaching for my timetable I saw I had English first. I made my way out my form room door and towards the cobbled courtyard. I passed the small lake on my right where canoeing lessons were held and entered the south building. I walked into the classroom where my English class would be. Taking my seat at the back I got my work book, planner and pencil case out my bag.

5 minutes into the lesson I heard the chair next to me squeak indicating someone had plans to sit there. Lifting m head up I saw a familiar face I hadn't seen here before.

"George?" I asked. "since when do you come to this school. Let alone my lessons?" I raised an eyebrow.

"I do go to this school I just come whenever I want. It's part of my bad boy attire." he replied smugly pulling the collar of his shirt with a knowing smirk.

"Right. And your purpose of coming in today was?"

"It's my GCSE year." he shrugged as I snickered.
