Mixed Feelings

Road Block

While the guys were driving I came to the realization that I new where we were. We were in my old neighborhood. I wonder if they were driving this way on purpose or just to do it.

"Can we make a quick stop?" I asked the boys that were in the front seats.\

"Sure where?" Harry asked, considering he was the one driving.

I told them the address and with in 5 minutes of complete silence, we were there.

'This is it Steph. You can do it.' I told myself as I walked up to the front door.

ding ding ding the doorbell rang. I guess now there's no turning back now.

10 Seconds later a shirtless bot that was sort of tall answered the door. His hair was a light brown color. It was shorter than I remembered. He was also buffer than expected. I guess that's what you get when you don't see people for years.

"Katie?" He asked. I nodded while smiling .Once I did he smiled and wrapped me into a hug. A very tight hug may I add

'I cant believe its you. Katie I've missed you so much."

"I missed you too but call me Steph. You know that." I sighed.

I guess I should introduce him. His name is Riley. He's a year older than me. Zayn, Riley and I were the best of friends. Were. Since he's a year older he was a grade older too. When he graduated he didn't visit often. The only reason Zayn and I knew him were because he lived on our block. He's the best person ever. Yes, even better than the One Direction boys. Most of the time. Anyway we lost contact because he left school. He would call me occasionally though. In fact the day Zayn left I ran crying to him. Before I first... cut... myself.

"What are you doing here? Who are they? Do I have to beat them up? Did anyone mess with you?" He started asking rapid fire questions after he let go of me.

"I wanted to see you. I missed you. That's Harry and Liam." I said pointing to the car. "They're in a band along with Zayn. No you don't, they are nice people. And no-one messed with me." I told Riley.

"Wait your with Zayn? And the band?" Riley asked

"Mmhm." I hummed.

"Wanna come with me? I'll introduce you to the boys." I told him

"Hey Liam and Harry! This is Riley. My best friend from High School." I introduced them as we approached the big black car that Harry drives.

'"BOYS!!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs

Niall and Louis came running from different directions scaring the crap out of me.

"Your out of the hospital!" Niall cheered.

"You were in the hospital?!"Riley asked, or more yelled

"Shhhh!! Yes I was. Now calm yourself. Niall this is Riley. Louis this is Riley. He's my best friend, so leave him alone. Don't touch him!" I told them.

I dragged Riley up the staircase and practically ran, with him following closely behind, to Zayns bedroom door.

I barged into his room to find him watching tv. Although when I came in unexpectedly he jumped.

"Why would you do that?" He asked completely mortified.

"Look who it is!!" I said not answering his question. I tugged Riley inside his bedroom.

"No way" Zayn said completely and utterly shocked.
