Chapter 13: The Day of The Engagement

Queen's POV

When Hawk left I am deeply thinking about tomorrow. I just realize now that once I'll get engage I will not be free and the worst is I can't go back in the underworld, of being a Queen. I can't imagine myself to be tied with a man who I don't even like and it seems that I was caught by my father's trap. And here am.Wants to unwind myself.

"Is that you Queen?" Napukaw ang atensyon ko ng may narinig akong isang pamilyar na boses.I look for the owner of the voice and there I find a familiar face.

"Remember the racing field?" Panigurado nitong tugon sakin. I then give a slight smile when I remembered him.

"Ah yeah I remember you.Snow right?"

He then smiled.

"Would you mind if I take a sit?" aniya habang itinuro ang upuan na nasa harapan ko.

"Sure, then you will occupy the 3rd seat." Tapos na siyang umupo at ng makaupo na siya ay pansin kong may hinahanap siya.Bago pako makapagsalita ay inunahan niya na ako.

"Where's Stone? Getting your drinks?" napataas naman ang kilay ko sa sinabi niya.

"I'm not with that moron." Naiiritang sagot ko. Dahil na alala ko yong ginawa niya kanina. Hindi ko maintindihan kung anong nangyayari sa kanya.

"Having some problems between you two?"

"Let's not talk about him."

"Okay, Okay. You seem pissed. So don't tell me you are just the one who is here? "

"I have a friend who had just left getting for our drinks."

"I see. Does something came up? I'm a regular here and it is the first time I see you here. "

"Yeah. And I hate the fact that I am getting engage tomorrow's night and I am—" napahinto ako ng marealize ko ang mga sinasabi ko then I look at him. Akala ko mabibigla siya but he is just calm.

"So Stone is really your fiancée." He said. I don't know if it's a statement or question .But he sounds cold. I just nodded. May biglang sumagi sa isip ko.

"Are you not friends with him?"

"I don't know. But I guess we are rivals." Pormal na sabi niya.

"Ah..So you two are really friends."

"Maybe.." then we just laugh. Hindi ko maipaliwanag sa sarili ngunit komportable ako sa presensya niya.

Ngunit bahagya ako nagulat ng magtanong siya na hindi ko inaasahan.

"You like him?" Patay malisyang tanong niya habang nakangiti ng makahulugan. I was caught off guard.Naging seryoso ang mukha niya dahil sa katagalan ng pagsagot ko.

"I-I don't like him at all. We are just arrange with our parents." Naiinis na depensa ko.

"Ah I see. That's good." Bigla namang nagkasalubong ang mga kilay ko sa reaksyon niya.Bigla siyang tumayo.

"I got to go now. It's nice to meet you again Queen." He smiled. Dahil nasa loob kami ng bar hindi ganoon kalinaw ang mga mukha namin. The light suddenly hit his face. At ngayon ko palang nakita ng malinaw ang pagmumukha niya.He is a very good-looking man.Gwapo nga Stone, ngunit mas gwapo pa ito sa kanya. Bakit bigla siyang nasagi sa isip ko?

"You will not join us? My friend will be here in soon."sabi ko habang tumayo.

"Thanks but I need to go now. But if you insist can you show me your hand first." He smiled. Bigla naman akong nacurious. I just showed my right hand to him and I was caught off guard when he suddenly kisses my hand.
