chapter 38- Guilt

King's pov

"She is doing better. Just won't talk that much" Chris mom told me about stormy's condition. She was a registered nurse so I called her over here as soon as we got to the house.

"I gave her a bath and made her drink lots of water to flush out the drugs in her system. Oh and I put some healing cream on her face for the bruise" She smiled showing her sympathy.

"Thank you Ms.Williams" I hugged her. "And thank you for patching up my shoulder"

"You know you call me christina or mom" She smacked my head and walked away.

I went inside our bedroom and seen Stormy eating her shrimp fried rice I got her while she talked to mya.

"I love you ok" Mya hugged her and stormy hugged her back. "I'll be back tomorrow" She smiled and hugged me on the way out.

"How you doing?" I sat in front of her.

She just looked down and played with her food. "Baby talk to me" I mumbled. She looked up and I saw her lip start to tremble.

"I gotchu" I climbed in the bed and held her against my chest.

"Just hold me please" She cried heavily into my chest and wrapped her arms around my neck.

I pulled her into my lap and let her cry. All I could do was comfort her. She fell asleep in my hold and I just leaned against the headboard thinking about all that happened until I soon fell asleep.

Sitting in my living room, I chilled with chris and j while we smoked this blunt.

"That shit was crazy" Chris said referring to the swat team that arrived at the hotel.

"Glad yall made it out in time" I passed the blunt to J.

"Yea I wasn't trying to get arrested and shit" He shook his head.

"Man how stormy doi-" Chris was cut off by loud screaming.

"RASHAD RASHAD" Stormy yelled coming down the stairs. I stood up real quick and ran over to her, Meeting her at the end of the staircase.

"What what's wrong?"

"Why weren't you there" She started to get teary eyed.

"What-"

"Why weren't you in the bed next to me when I woke up" She panicked.

"Baby im right here-"

"BUT WHY WEREN'T YOU THERE!" She screamed. "You said you will always be there for me when I needed you. why weren't you next to me when I woke up" She hit my chest crying.

"Baby it's 3 in the afternoon" I explained to her.

She looked at me breathing up and down. I looked over at chris and J and seen chris had his head down with a sad expression on his face. J had his hand over his mouth and lightly shook his head.

"Im sorry" She broked down crying. Looking at her cry made me feel guilty about not being there for her. After telling J and chris to leave, I carried her upstairs to the bedroom.

I asked her what she wanted to eat and she said chinese so I gadly got it for her. She ate and soon fell asleep. I stood in the mirror looking back at myself. All becasue I wanted a quick fuck, My girl had to go through this.

Stormy's pov

I woke up and panicked when I didn't see rashad once again. I looked over to the bathroom and seen the light on. I quietly started to get up and walked into the bathroom. He stood there looking down at the floor while he had his hands rested on the counter. I walked up behind him and gently placed a kiss on his back.
