chapter 46- Hide out

New York City

"Baby I have to go.... I promise I'll come over, I just have to do something real quick......."

"I promise. you can have me anyway you want me......."

"Love you to." Skye smiled and ended the call.

"Bout to get me some of that real dick tonight." She giggled and got her house keys out her purse.

She opened the door to her million dollar condo. "Why are all the lights off." She mumbled once she was inside. Turning on the light switch, She jumped.

"What the fuck!" She screamed with her hand on her rapidly beating heart.

Ryan was sitting down on the couch looking at her.

"Why were you sitting in the dark?" She kicked the door closed and carried her shopping bags into the house.

"I was thinking." He got up and helped her.

"About?"

"My brother. I have this funny feeling he's gonna find out we here." He said nervously. Skye huffed out of frustration. He did this everyday.

"Ryan like I said before. we been here for the past year. we're good. and when I sent out those professional killers it gave him the hint. He forgot about us."

"That's true. Im sorry Im overreacting. You're right." He sighed.

"Baby I told you to stop spending so much." He said looking into her louboutin and gucci bags. She had bags, shoes, clothes, jewelry.

"Rashad wouldn't have a problem with it." She mumbled as she went into the kitchen and got out a champagne glass.

"What you say?"

"That reminds me. My card is flat out empty, I tried to buy this diamond necklace and it declined-"

"Why didn't you use your other one?"

"That one is dead to. Anyways as I was saying, The lady at the jewelry store looked at me funny and I was so embarrassed-"

"You telling me you maxed out two credit cards?" Ryan cut her off.

She poured her wine into the glass. "Yea so."

"I just put money back on them 2 days ago."

Taking a sip of her drink, she thought about her next move. Placing the glass down, she walked over to him and placed her arms around his neck.

She placed a sweet gentle kiss on his lips. "Im sorry baby. I promise after you reload my card again I wont spend it all so fast." She kissed him again. This time biting his lip.

"Let me go put these in the room real quick and I'll go put more money on your card." He gave in.

"Your amazing you know that." Skye smiled. She was playing a real good game right now.

"I love you." Ryan felt his heart rushing when he said it. He truly had love for skye and would do anything for her.

"I love you more." Skye lied. She couldn't give a shit about him. As long as he provided her with money and lavish things, She was happy and able to keep up her good acting skills.

Ryan left to go put away her shopping bags. Once he was gone, She picked up her wine glass and phone. Sitting down on the living room couch she texted her other side piece.

"I said I'll be on my way. Just be patient baby." She texted.

"Who you textin?" Ryan came into the room with his laptop. He sat right next to her.

"Nobody." She locked her phone screen and smiled.

"So I was thinking...."

"Ryan no." Skye rolled her eyes.

"You don't even know what I was going to say."

"Yes I do. You were gonna ask me if I wanted kids." She sighed hard. "And then you were gonna ask if I changed my idea about marrying you."

"Well have you?" Ryan asked hopefully.

Skye thought to herself. "If I marry him all the money would rightfully be mine to." She smiled.

"Kids no. Marriage? I think we could do that."

"Future Mrs. Anderson." Ryan smiled happily. "Maybe you'll change your mind about kids one day." He grabbed the side of her face and kissed her.

"That will never happen." Skye said in her head. "Maybe." She laughed lightly. Ryan smiled at her. She downed the rest of her drink.

"Wait. Your gonna do that over your work computer?" Skye asked. she saw that ryan was going online and to the bank website.

"No I was going to pay the cable bill. I just wanted to check my card first."

"Oh." Skye said in relief. If that was possible, She would secretly do it all the time. "Can you pay my phone bill while you at?" She got up from the couch.

They always paid it at the store but skye forgot and was already two days late on it. She was scared they might cut off her phone.

Ryan pays for everything. The house, cars, food, everything. While skye did nothing but shop with his money and hangout with her friends.

"Sure thing baby." Ryan looked up from his computer to see her grabbing her Michael kors purse and keys. "Where you going?"

"I'll be right back." She texted her side piece hakeem.

"Again? you been leaving for the past 2 days."

"I know and im sorry. It's diamond. Her and pinky got into it again." She told the same lie as she always did. Diamond was her friend she met while out here in New York.

"Love you." She quickly kissed him and left out the door.

Ryan sighed and continued to pay her phone bill.
