"Today, Frodo was behaving very strangely. He spent most of the day by himself and heeded no attention to the rest of the Fellowship. It was late at night and a bright full moon cast a white light over the kingdom of Rivendell.
I found him sitting near an old oak tree with large branches.

I was sitting down on my bed, watching Frodo from my chamber window with a worried expression on my face

I was sitting down on my bed, watching Frodo from my chamber window with a worried expression on my face.

In Frodo's hand was a shiny gold object-The Ring. He held the Ring close to him and he stared at it intensely. He whispered to it like it was a living, breathing thing. Then, he shoved the object back into his trouser pocket.

I got up off of my bed and anxiously made my way over towards Frodo

I got up off of my bed and anxiously made my way over towards Frodo. "What are you doing?" I asked him.

"Nothing, dearest

"Nothing, dearest." He grinned. "I think it's you should get some rest. It's been an awfully long day and you look exhausted."

"So do you." I chuckled nervously.

"What are you talking about?"

"Frodo, I'm worried about you. You haven't talked to me in a while and....I feel like your ignoring me. Please, tell me what's wrong. I'm worried about you."

Frodo's heart was filled with guilt. There was pain in his wide blue eyes.

"W-W-W-Worried?" He stuttered. "Worried about me? You don't have to be worried about me. I'm alright. Please, go get some rest."

"I'm not tired."

I sat down beside Frodo and stared longingly into his eyes. As I spoke to him, there was a shakiness in my voice. I looked down at his trouser pocket. "Is this about the Ring?"

"No." Frodo swallowed deeply.

"Yes, it is. Frodo, why are you acting like this? Tell me. Tell me."

"No

"No. I'm sorry, Brianna." Frodo frowned. "I don't think I can. I'm sorry."

"Frodo, you're not yourself!" I whimpered.

"You won't even tell me why your acting like this! You're scaring me!"

I sat down on my knees and cried into my hands. I shivered in fear. There was a heavy weight in my heart. "Tell me, F-Frodo."

Frodo could not bear to see me like this. He took pity on me. "Brianna is more important than the Ring. Why did I act so foolishly? It's all my fault. I should of been honest with her. She is my daughter." He walked towards me and sat down.

"Brianna, please talk to me

"Brianna, please talk to me. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it."

I felt him lay his hand on my shoulder gently. I shook my head and pushed his hand away.

"No. Don't do that." I sobbed.

"The last thing I ever wanted to do is frighten you

"The last thing I ever wanted to do is frighten you. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. The reason why I kept my distance away from you was because....I was only looking out for you. You are more important than the Ring. Don't be afraid of me."

"I love you, too, Frodo." I said, with tears rolling down my eyes.

"Come here. Let me hold you. You can sleep in my lap if you want too."

I got up and walked towards Frodo. I settled myself comfortably in his lap. I whimpered quietly into his nightshirt.

"Shh. Shh. Shh. Shh. It's alright. It's alright." He rocked me back and forth, kissed me on the forehead and rubbed my back soothingly. It's alright. Close your eyes and listen to my voice. I promise to take good care of you. What I did was wrong, I will never leave you. I promise."
