The sky was lit up by a giant full moon. Frodo and Sam were trekking though a large thicket and Gollum was following from behind. Frodo felt a heavy weight around his neck. He tightly clutched onto the Ring.
Sam stopped for a moment and looked over at Frodo with a concerned look on his face.

"What's the matter, Mr. Frodo? Is everything alright?"
Frodo shook his head. "The Ring, Sam. It's getting heavier."
Sam walked over to him and rested his hand on Frodo's shoulder comfortingly. "It's alright, Mr. Frodo. You can make it. I know you can. Don't worry. We'll set up camp here and then we can rest. Wait a just a minute...."Sam paused.
"Where did that Gollum creature wander off to?" Gollum was nowhere to be seen. "He must have scampered off."
Frodo ignored Sam. He stared at the Ring with great desire. It was like he was put under some magical spell. "Precious....." He mumbled under his breath.
Sam knew that Frodo's behaviour was a bit unusual. He tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention. Frodo snapped back into reality. "Sam? What is it?"
"Are you alright?"
"Yes. I'm quite alright, thank you." Frodo replied with a smile.

"I think it might be best you need to rest for a while, Mr. Frodo. It's getting awfully late."
After the two hobbits set up their camp for the night, they snuggled close to each other near their warm campfire. Frodo looked up and gazed at the bright full moon. There was a glimmer of sadness in his blue eyes.
Frodo wished that he was back in the Shire and he longed to spend the rest of his life with his Uncle Bilbo.
"I wish that were still in the Shire, Sam. I miss Bilbo." "I miss the Shire, too, Mr. Frodo. But, look on the bright side. At least you have me to keep you company." Sam encouraged. "You're safe with me, Mr. Frodo. Nothing is going to hurt you."
"Have you seen Gollum anywhere, Sam?" Frodo asked, anxiously. "Where did he wander off to?"
"I wouldn't be worryin' about him." Sam placed a friendly hand on Frodo's shoulder. "I'm more worried about you."
"Sam." Said Frodo, in a soft voice.
"You look like you need some rest, Mr. Frodo." Sam insisted. "I think the both of us should rest for the night, don't you think?"
"I'm not tired, Sam." Frodo shook his head.
"Yes. Yes, you are." whispered Sam. "I don't know how comfortable you are with this, Mr. Frodo, but you could lie down in my lap if you want to. It would probably be more comfortable than sleeping on the ground."
"I suppose." Frodo yawned.
When Frodo lied his head down in Sam's lap, he felt comfort. He felt protected. Sam drew a blanket over Frodo and cradled him in his arms. "Get some sleep, Mr. Frodo We have a long journey ahead of us."
