"Shawn!" My uncle had opened arms as he came towards me and embraced me in his arms. "It's been forever!"
"I just saw you like 10 minutes ago..." I don't know why, but I'm suddenly annoyed by him. I love him and all, but he truly does not know what I'm personally going through and he'll never truly understand.
Camila soon started to walk away, her purse hanging on her arm. "Hey, I gotta go." I interrupted my uncle talking and walked after her. I have to talk to her. I continue to linger on to the past and I just can't help it, because she was the best thing I ever had and I just can't get over that. I just need one more night. I don't know what need. Maybe I just need a kiss on the cheek to realize that we're done. It sounds really weird, but trust me, I have a certain way of coping with certain things. I could easily take a hand hold or something. Something that will just make my mind click. I don't even know what to say.
As her heels clack against the tile floor, I walked faster. I wanted to catch up to her so I can somehow explain myself. I love her.
