Petunia gave her parents one last call on the satellite phone that was in the visitor center and hung up, giving the phone to another student who would be contacting whoever that needed to know that they made it to South America okay.
She took a breath then grabbed her duffel bag, looking out the building to the scenery that surrounded them. It was breathtaking and the pull of the foliage called to her in some odd way. She had an odd feeling inside her and she was hoping that her bipolar disorder wasn't acting up again. Instead, she was surprised that it hadn't made any appearances today.
Still, there was a feeling in her chest that was calling her towards the jungle. Her eyes stared at a well worn path and for some reason she stared at it as if something was going to appear. Following some odd bred instinct, she walked to the path, still staying close to the rest of the students and her professor but looking at the path. Some weird force was pulling her towards the path almost as if she was in a trance.
Her heartbeat doubled and then just as quickly, it went away. All feelings of uncertainty and pull were gone from her. Was that her condition acting up?
Shaking her head, Petunia was getting ready to turn back towards the visitor center when she heard the rustling of foliage from the path. Trying to tune into the sound more, she tilted her head and stared hard.
Suddenly, as if she conjured him, a man stepped out from the brush. "Oh my go-" She breathed clutching at her chest. The beating of her heart doubled almost instantly. The man who had just exited the jungle was massive. Petunia had to do a double take and she couldn't help but stare at the man that just walked out from the jungle.
He was already sweating from the humid air, his gray thin button up top clung to his body as if he was wearing a second skin, the color contrasting with his olive skin nicely. His arms were all muscled out, and some of the veins were protruding from his arms. He wore beige cargo pants that were hanging low on his narrow hips, strapped to his belt was a holster for a machete. On his back, beside the backpack that he sported was a rifle.
Around his neck, he wore a necklace that she couldn't make out the pendant. Finally her eyes went up his delectable neck to his square jaw that held the slight indentation of a cleft in his chin. There was slight stubble on his jawline, as if he shaved earlier yet it was already growing on his face again. Higher, her eyes went to his lips. His lips were stern yet there was a hint of a smirk as her gaze went to his eyes. From afar, they looked green but she thought that they might be hazel. He was staring her down just as she was doing to him, except there was no shame in his eyes. Petunia blushed and looked away, embarrassed at openly checking the man out.
The man seem to have gotten out of his stupor and then walked passed her. She turned to look at him and found that he was also looking at her as they passed each other. There was a seductive look in his eyes that made Petunia want to follow him like a lost puppy and ask him to strip off her clothes and have sex with her right then and there. Woah, where did that come from?
Shaking her head and then licking her lips, she turned and walked behind him to go back to the visitor center to meet up with her professor and the rest of the students. There was one thing that her parents didn't tell her to be wary of and that was the locals.

To Petunia's dismay and blood, the mysterious, delectable man happened to be their guide and expert in the jungle. She avoided eye contact with him as he introduced himself. "I'm not going to make this pretty but it can be explained simple and easily. You can all call me Uriah, I will be your guide and protector. Rule one, Do not, ever wander off alone. Always have a buddy with you, and notify anyone where you are going. If we lose you, you may die. The jungle is not a playground, it is full of dangerous things. If the foliage won't kill you, the animals will. If you are hurt, let one of us know ASAP. Even if you think it may be a mediocre injury, I need to know. Also, I don't play any games, so don't try to play with me." With that, Uriah looked through his pack and felt that he was set and ready.
He looked to the sky and felt his powers inside strengthen. The Lunar eclipse was near, tomorrow he'd have to leave this group and let his mental Jaguar run free, if not he would be in excruciating pain. One set of pain for still not having his mate and another for not fully being changed. Unless he found his mate, he wouldn't be able to change into his other half at his leisure. But right now, he could only change when the source was at its strongest which included the upcoming solstice. Until the end of the week, he shouldn't have to worry about the eclipse too much.
Uriah turned to look at the female that had eyed him when he first stumbled across the center. She was pretty and he would have been more than happy to take her, but with his Jaguar being so close and the knowledge that his bond and his mate's would be at its strongest and clearer than it had before.
He still felt that his mate was near and he almost thought that the female before him was his, but his Jaguar didn't react to her the way that he knew what the mating attraction was like. It showed a slight interest but went back into hibernation.
He felt that this was just a physical attraction to the female and it had been awhile since he had hot sweaty sex.
After their initial eye fucking, she avoided all eye contact with him, her cheeks still pink from the two of them ogling each other. He didn't mind that they mentally undressed each other, she was pretty with her brown hair. Her face was tanned from the sun and freckles splayed across the bridge of her nose. Her eyes were a dark brown and her lips, plush and kissable. A man can spend all day kissing lips like the pair that she owned.
She wasn't too tall, standing at five foot three and he could notice the subtle curves that she held. What caught his eye most was her generous breasts. If he could fit them in his palm there would be more to grasp. Uriah had to change what he was thinking before he would be guiding the group with a raging hard on, partially due to his unstable mentality.
