London's Been Waiting For Us
Chapter 33
Simon's POV
2 weeks later... heading to London...
I don't mean to brag but I recently just bought a private jet so now I don't have to deal with the hassle of traveling with a bunch of people. Demi's jaw drops at the sight of it. "Simon, I can't believe you got a private jet. This is freaking amazing!" I laugh. "I know. Now let's head to London. Vacation awaits us." I help Delilah and Demi get situated and tell the pilot to prepare for take off. He nods and I dash back to my seat right as the jet begins to move. Delilah squeals as the plane takes off. Demi looks like she's trying hard to not to panic. I squeeze her hand and assure that she's okay. The jet is in the air a couple minutes later and Demi is calm once again.
Delilah pulls out her tablet and loads a game to play. I think it's Angry Birds but I'm not sure. Demi turns to me. "So Simon, how long are we planning to stay in London?" "I was thinking a week. Is that good?" She smiles. "That's perfect." I lean in to kiss her. "Demi, I wanted to thank you for letting us do this. I really think this vacation will be good for us. Plus, I know Delilah will love London too. For example, the food is too die for so I know that like you and I, she'll be eating everything in site. We'll have to work it off when we get back." She laughs. "Screw it. That's the point of the vacation Simon. To enjoy ourselves without worrying every second about the little things."
We spend the rest of the fourteen hour flight joking around, debating on what sights are the most important things to see, etc. As we get off the jet and step into the London air, I instantly feel at home.
