Chapter 36

 Demi's POV 

   A few days later...

     I can't believe today is our last full day in London before we leave to go back to L.A. in the morning. The whole trip just flew by. I guess that's what happens when you're having fun. I look to Simon who is lying next to me checking emails. "Simon, can you believe that we have to leave tomorrow? I don't want to." He frowns. "I know love. It's been amazing here. I don't want to leave either, but you and I both have to get back to work at some point. Reality eventually creeps back." "You're right. At least we still have today." "Yeah, at least we still have today." 

    1 hour later...

      Simon, Delilah, and I leave our hotel room to go into town. We grab a late breakfast at a cafe right on the water. I get a latte and bagel, Simon gets coffee and a breakfast pizza, and Delilah gets apple juice and pancakes.  The food is wonderful as usual. In fact, there food here is even better than any of the food back home. I might special order certain foods at some point. After breakfast, we go down to the pier to let Delilah play some games while we sit and enjoy the ocean breeze. Now we would never let our daughter wander off so we sit a few feet from where she is. Simon grabs a hold of my hand and squeezes it.

      "Demi, can I ask you a question?" "Sure Simon." "How would you feel about getting a vacation in a suburb of London?" "I would love that. When were you thinking of purchasing one?" He bites his lip. "On our next trip of course." I grab his face and kiss him on the lips. He smiles brightly after the kiss. "That sounds perfect. In fact, you're perfect Demi." I blush and we stay in a warm embrace until Delilah comes running back with some prizes. She won a giant minion doll. When I say giant, I mean it. It's as tall as she is. She also won some candy and bracelets. Needless to say, someone's a happy girl right now. 

         We spend the rest of the day doing things along the pier. When the sun begins to set, Delilah yawns indicating that she wants to go to bed. We bring her back to the hotel, put her to bed, and watch Parks and Rec on Netflix until Simon and I doze off to sleep ourselves.
