Chapter 34
Demi's POV
2 hours later...
We're all settled in the hotel and relaxing for the night. All of us have extreme jet lag and just need to be lazy for one night before going out to start enjoying London tomorrow. Simon ordered us hamburgers, fries, and spicy chicken tenders from room service so we get gourmet food without having to go through the effort of leaving the room. I wish I could have every meal delivered to me like this, but sadly we'll have to go back to real world at some point.
We chow down on our food as soon as it gets to the room. Our hamburgers are as big as our heads, the fries are as tall as mountain, and the chicken tenders are as spicy as can be. This is food at its finest. Each of us savor every bite and Simon and I make sure to take pictures of everything we eat so we can scrapbook it later. Spotting the dessert menu out of the corner of my eye, I grab it and flip through to decide on what to get. I decide on a banana split supreme which is like a normal banana split but twice as big, Delilah decides on a strawberry shortcake bar, and Simon decides on a hot fudge sundae.
10 minutes later...
Our dessert is brought to us and it looks equally as amazing as our supper. We also take pictures of the desserts, which are then devoured in minutes. Simon made sure to give a big tip to the waiter for providing us with such quality food. Even most food back home isn't this good. I'd bring the chef back home with us if I could just to have them make us home cooked meals as much as possible.
After we finish eating, Delilah watches Frozen while Simon and I finalize the game plan for the next week. We agreed that tomorrow we are going to ride the London Eye with Delilah, see Big Ben, and do some shopping. I smile, content at knowing that while we are on vacation, we also have a game plan to see and do as much as possible. London is a magical city and I want to experience it fully.
