Chapter 7: Don't Want To

Dogwonder: I'm updating so hard guys! Just five or six more chapters to go! I can do it!

Nya: Don't you have regents to study for?

Dogwonder: Hush! Don't speak of that! I have studied all I can!Now let's dive into another chapter of Nya!

"Sorry about this." I mumbled.

"It's not a problem." Haku shrugged.

We walked through a cave while Haku held a torch.

"I just didn't really want to be stuck with them any longer." I sighed.

"It's really not a problem Nya." Haku assured.

"Though who knew the scavenger hunt would require going into a cave."

"At least we get the chance to finally talk alone." Haku looked at me.

I frowned. "About what?"

"Fairy Tail."

I flinched and memories stirred within me that I didn't want to see.

He should know by now to not talk about it.

"There's nothing to say." I muttered.

"Then why does everyone refuse to talk about it?" Haku pressed.

"Because I don't like the topic."

Haku went silent for a moment before replying again. "How bad was it?"

"I guess you could say life changing." I laughed softly.

"That bad?" Haku asked surprised.

"Yeah."

"Hmm. Guess you really don't want to talk about it."

"Not really."

I put a strand of my blue hair behind my ear and scanned the walls.

"How about I guess then?" Haku suddenly suggested.

My whipped my head around to face him. "Why?"

"Cause you won't tell me and it's best for you to talk it out." Haku smiled.

I looked down. "We're supposed to be doing a scavenger hunt."

"We can do both."

"Whatever." I sighed.

Haku thought for a second. "Did you get kicked out for causing too much damage?"

I laughed at his guess. "That's not really a problem for Fairy Tail."

"Hmm. Then maybe you were threatened to quit." He guessed.

"Are you even trying?" I chuckled.

"Okay, okay. So considering how pretty you are it must have something to do with a guy." He smiled jokingly.

My chest hurt knowing he struck the right cord. He waited for me to tell him off and try harder or something, but I stayed silent.

"So it is about a guy." Haku realized.

I looked straight into his eyes.

"Pathetic right?" I smiled weakly.

"What happened? Did he break your heart?" Haku pressed.

I looked away again.

"Something like that." I muttered.

"I'm sorry Nya."

"Don't be." I laughed. "It's my own fault for giving him my heart, but I can't let go yet."

We continued to walk in silence until we found what we were looking for.

"So those two know everything?" Haku suddenly asked.

I scratched the back of my head awkwardly. "Yeah."

"That's probably why they're clingy."

"I know." I sighed.

"And you continue the story anytime you want you know."

"I'll keep that mind."

We headed back to the table since this was the last item on the list. We got a free coupon for ice cream. Haku and I then had to wait a while for the arguing duo to get here. They practically jumped on to me when they saw us.

"He's so mean!" Lilly cried.

"She's the mean one Nya!" Tsukasa protested.

"I honestly don't care you two. Stop your whining or I'm taking your ice cream later." I glared.

"Not my ice cream." Lilly whimpered.

I rolled my eyes and our group went to get our ice cream.

"Hey Nya. Let me taste some of your ice cream." Tsukasa said.

"It's just vanilla."

"Please?" Tsukasa used his puppy eyes on me.

"Those don't work on me."

"Fine." Tsukasa pouted.

He then went back to sadly licking his ice cream. Though once we all finished we went back to the inn to have dinner since it was getting late. After dinner was over we went back to our to go to sleep.

"Hey guys. Where do you want to go next? I think we should leave tomorrow." I told them.

"So soon?" Lilly pouted.

"Okay Nya." Tsukasa smiled.

"Well, I think it's my turn." Haku smirked.

I glared at him.

"I heard there's a festival going on in Calatheas. I wanna check it out." He continued.

I perked up slightly.

"I know that place. That's where Niki lives." I recalled.

"Oh yeah! Niki! Another person you helped!" Lilly remembered.

Tsukasa looked at me questioningly.

"Long story." I sighed. "Anyway, we can head there tomorrow."

"Awesome." Haku smiled.

"Now I'm going to sleep. Tsukasa you stay on your bed or I'm not talking to you the entire train ride." I threatened.

Tsukasa looked fearful. I then went under my covers and closed my eyes.
