Chapter 15: You're Alive

Dogwonder: Natsu is back! Wahahaha!

Nya: Go sit in the corner author.

Dogwonder: Never! Let story time begin!

"I finally found you Nya." Natsu grinned.

I stared at him in shock.

"Hey Natsu!" Happy finally caught up with him. "Why did you run off?"

"Look Happy! It's Nya!" Natsu pointed.

Happy turned to look at me. "Nya! You look old!"

I glared at the cat. Soon I heard the panting of another person and saw Lucy run towards us.

"W-why did y-you have to leave me?" Lucy panted.

She glanced up and saw me causing her face to pale.

"N-nya?!" She stuttered.

"Do you know these people Nya?" Haku asked.

"They look suspicious." Juliet commented examining the group.

"They're my old guildmates." I said still stunned.

Haku understood right away and squeezed my hand tighter. Natsu noticed the movement and frowned at his action.

"Who is he Nya?" Natsu questioned.

"He's my boyfriend." I mumbled.

"Why do you care?" Juliet asked.

Lucy clapped her hands. "Why don't we all go somewhere else to talk?"

She looked around nervously.

"As long as we get back before twelve." I agreed.

"Of course." Lucy nodded.

We walked over to a nearby cafe with Natsu constantly looking at Haku and I. We grabbed a table outside and sat down.

"Why don't we introduce each other?" Lucy suggested. "I'll start. My name is Lucy Heartfilia."

"Nice to meet you Lucy. My name is Haku Crystalfylax." Haku introduced.

Natsu got up and slammed his hands on the table.

"I'm Natsu Dragneel!" Natsu yelled. "Nya's boyfriend!"

Boyfriend?! Sh*t!

Lucy winced at his words.

"Oh really?" Haku asked. "Aren't you supposed to be dead though?"

"Well, I'm right here aren't I?!" Natsu shouted.

"Sit down Natsu." I snapped.

Natsu looked at me in shock, but sat down none the less.

"Natsu, the day you went missing is the day we broke up. I have moved on. I am a guild master and I love Haku. Things have changed in the seven years you've been gone." I explained to him.

Haku looked pleased at my speech.

"Haku. Get that look off your face or I will." I sighed.

Haku just shrugged and Natsu looked hurt.

"Well, why don't we continue our introductions?" Lucy laughed awkwardly.

"Of course. My name is Juliet, an exceed." Juliet told them.

"My name is Happy!" Happy yelled.

"Now that's over why don't you tell us about your guild?" Lucy told me.

"Well, our guild is located in Oak Town and is called Phoenix Feather." I showed them the guild mark on my shoulder.

"That's amazing Nya!" Lucy smiled.

"Yeah. Also, Lilly and Tsukasa are also in it. They're actually going to participate in the Grand Magic Games." I continued.

"You aren't competing?" Lucy questioned.

"Guild masters can't." I sighed.

"Is he competing?" Natsu glared at Haku.

"Yes." Haku replied.

"Looks like I'll get to fight you." Natsu smirked.

"Hopefully." Haku smirked.

Boys.

"We should start looking for our members." Juliet told me.

"Probably." I sighed. "Well, glad to know you're not dead."

"It was nice to see you again." Lucy faked smile.

I looked at her strangley before getting up and Haku stood up too.

"Let's meet again in the games." Haku said.

"Definitely." Natsu agreed.

We left them and walked again through the town's streets.

"Are you okay Nya?" Haku asked.

"Yeah. It was just... unexpected." I admitted.

"I'm sure it. Seeing dead people alive. What is the world coming to?" Juliet agreed.

"We'll worry about that later. Let's just focus on the games right now." Haku told me.

"Yeah. Don't worry about it." I nodded.

But what is this bad feeling I'm having?
