Chapter 13: Creating a Guild

Dogwonder: Yeah! Next chapter will be the start of the grand magic games! Finally!

Nya: yeah. Finally.

Dogwonder: Whatever. Let's start.

"Your turn to choose Lilly." I told her. "Where do you want to go?'

"I have an idea on how to choose." Lilly smiled.

"Okay?" I replied unsurely.

Lilly turned to the map at the station and closed her eyes. She then randomly placed her finger on the map and opened her eyes.

"We're going to Oak Town!" Lilly declared.

"Did you really need to do that?" Tsukasa grumbled.

"Grumpy pants." Lilly chuckled.

I rolled my eyes at her and see Haku come towards us with a paper bag.

"Did you get what you needed?" I questioned.

"Yeah." Haku nodded.

"So what was it you needed?" Lilly asked.

Haku opened his bag and pulled it out. "Gloves."

I felt my face heat up slightly.

Idiot.

Haku threw the bag away and put the gloves on. Tsukasa stared at him curiously and Lilly started to open her mouth when the whistle for the train rang out.

"Hurry! The tickets!" Lilly yelled.

She quickly ran to get the tickets then herded us all onto the train. The train soon started moving and it shock as it rolled down the tracks. Lilly looked suspiciously between Haku and me.

Well, why shouldn't be. Haku went out of his way to buy gloves. In summer.

I ignored her stares and continued to look out the window until we arrived at our stop. We got off at Oak Town station and started to wander around the city. I noticed children wearing worn out clothes and people showing fatigue. Some of the houses needed maintenance or were fixed poorly.

"There's something off about this place." I muttered.

"So you noticed too." Haku whispered.

I looked at Tsukasa and Lilly who hadn't yet noticed it.

"Let's ask someone." I told him.

Haku nodded and we separated from the other two then went over to a cart owner.

"I was wondering if you could tell us some information." I told the seller.

"What about?" The man looked us over.

"What's wrong with this place?" I asked.

"So you noticed." He sighed.

"Is it possible you don't have a guild here?" Haku guessed.

The man looked at Haku surprised. "How did you know?"

"I've seen places before like this." Haku replied.

"I see. Well, we once had a guild here but it was disbanded. Our economy went into chaos." The man sighed.

"I see." I nodded. "Thanks for the information."

I tossed him a coin then walked away with Haku.

"So that's why it's strange here." I muttered.

"There isn't much we can help these people with if money is the problem." Haku said.

So they need a guild to fix this place. A guild, huh?

A smirk formed on my face.

"Hey Haku. Remember how you said you would help me however you can?" I reminded.

"Yeah." Haku looked at me curiously.

"Great. Because we're creating a guild."

"A guild?! Nya, it isn't as simple as saying you want to make one!" Haku reasoned.

"I realize that." I huffed. "You agreed to help me though."

"I guess I did." Haku mumbled.

"Great. Let's tell the others."

We walked over to Tsukasa and Lilly who were watching us.

"Why did you leave us Nya?" Tsukasa asked.

"I was doing something." I shrugged. "Now I have something I need your guy's help with."

"What?" Lilly questioned.

"Creating a guild." I told them.

Lilly's eyes bugged out and Tsukasa looked stunned.

"That's crazy!" Lilly exclaimed.

"Just shut up and listen." I snapped. "These people need a guild to fix their lives and this is something I want to do."

"Really?" Lilly pressed.

"Yeah." I nodded.

"Okay Nya. I'll help you." Tsukasa agreed.

"Okay. That's two. What about you Lilly?"

"Do you even need to ask?" Lilly smiled.

"So what are you going to name the guild?" Haku asked.

I thought about what ran through my mind when I left Fairy Tail.

"Phoenix Feather." I decided. "A guild where it doesn't matter what your past. We can be reborn and start over again."

"I like that." Lilly agreed.

"It's a good name." Tsukasa said.

Haku held my hand.

"It's perfect." He smiled.

I have a new family once again and I will be reborn again with them.
