I leaned my head against the train's window and looked at Haku.
He hasn't brought up Fairy Tail since yesterday. Guess I should be happy about that.
I sighed and continued to ride the train in silence until we arrived at our stop. We got off and saw the entire town preparing for the festival. People strung up streamers and prepared stalls for tonight.
"So where does Niki live?" Lilly asked.
"Not sure." I replied. "Let's look around."
We wandered around the town relying on only my memory to find Niki.
"Hey! Stop that!" A little girl cried.
I looked in the direction of the voice and saw a little girl with brown hair in pig tails wearing a light pink dress with ruffles and wearing black mary janes. She was jumping up and down to try and get the stuffed bunny from an older boy.
Niki!
"Does the little baby want her toy back?" He laughed.
I went up to him and yanked the toy out of his hand.
"Get lost." I glared.
He stumbled backwards in surprise.
"I-It was just a joke!" He reasoned before running off.
I handed the bunny back to Niki.
"Here you go."
She smiled up at me before her face filled with recognition.
"Nya!" She squealed.
"Nice to see you again Niki." I smiled.
"So this is Niki." Tsukasa said walking over to us.
"She's as cute as ever." Lilly grinned.
Haku joined us.
"Who aw these people Nya?" Niki asked.
"This is Lilly, Tsukasa, and Haku." I gestured to each of them.
"Nise to meat you." Niki smiled.
"Aww." Lilly cooed.
"So when does the festival start?" Haku asked.
"Twonight at thixth." Niki told him.
"That should be soon." Lilly noted.
"Yeah! Come home wis me to get ready!" Niki exclaimed.
"Okay Niki." I agreed.
Niki reached for my hand, but Tsukasa swatted it away.
"You can't touch Nya!" He yelled.
Niki's eyes got watery.
"Tsukasa. Seriously? She's two years younger." I sighed.
Lilly picked Niki up.
"It's okay." She shushed. "He's mean to everyone."
Niki nodded. "He's a meanie!"
"Stupid kid." Tsukasa grumbled.
Haku leaned towards Niki.
"Which way to your house?" He asked.
