"I swear I'm going to go insane before the end of the week Ashton," Calum exclaimed, pacing backwards and forwards in his best friends room. "He drives me insane."

"Just ignore him."

"It's not that simple Ash, he knows exactly how to annoy me." Calum groaned, continuing to pace around the room.

"That's because you let him," Ashton replied, "You show him exactly what pisses you off the most and he uses that against you. Besides, you would be pissed off too if you were in detention for something that wasn't your fault."

"Who's side are you on?"

"Calum, you are my best friend, I'm always on your side, but sometimes it's not Michael's fault."

"Really sounding like your on my side there Ash," Calum grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I'm just telling you the truth. You would be annoyed to if you were in detention because Michael started beating you up in the hallway and you were just defending yourself," Ashton reasoned, lying back on his bed.

"He provoked me."

"Not according to Luke he didn't, and he was there at the time."

"Of course Luke would say that, he's Michael's best friend." Calum grumbled, falling back onto Ashton's bed. "He's not a reliable witness therefore your point is invalid."

"Stop being so difficult you stubborn twat," Ashton chuckled, "you just don't want to say that Michael's right."

"Cause he's not."

"For gods sake Calum, you are so blinded by your hatred for him to notice that you literally jumped on him in the middle of the corridor."

"That's sounds weirdly sexual," Calum muttered, sticking his tongue out in disgust. Ashton smacked his arm, sniggering.

"I really don't see how you and Michael can't get along, you have almost the same personality."

"Excuse me." Calum gasped, holding his hand over his heart. "I am not an arrogant, obnoxious idiot with stupid hair."

Ashton raised his eyebrow, his gaze flickering to Calum's messy hair.

"Shut up Ash. Your hair isn't any better."

"I think you'll find that my hair is fabulous. The ladies love my hair." Ashton bragged, flicking his curls to the side dramatically.

"I'm not exactly interested in what the ladies think am I?"

"We've gone way off topic," Ashton giggled.

"Who cares? I don't want to spend hours with Michael and then sit and talk about him for another couple of hours," Calum explained. "I've had enough Michael for one day."

"You started it..." Ashton said in disbelief. Calum shrugged, placing his hands behind his head, stretching out across Ashton's bed. Ashton shook his head at his best friend, rolling his eyes.

"Move your legs dipshit, I need some space," Ashton huffed, shoving Calum's legs off him. Calum grinned and placed his legs back over Ashton's defiantly.

"This is my room, my rules. Now move your goddamn feet Hood!" Ashton growled playfully.

"Nah." Ashton didn't even let a smirk form on his face before he shoved Calum off of him onto the floor. "Ouch."
