"I swear to God if you snore again tonight I will kick you out of the room and you can sleep on the sofa." Calum told Michael as they got ready for bed.

"I can't exactly help it," Michael argued. "I'm kinda asleep."

"I'm still kicking you out. I am not dealing with another night of staring at the ceiling while you do a wonderful impression of a pig in your sleep."

"Why don't you go down to the sofa now then?"

"Do you know how uncomfortable it is to sleep on a sofa when you're over 6ft tall?" Calum laughed humourlessly, pulling his pyjama shirt on. "I am not sleeping in that sofa ever again."

"I can't help it Hood. I have no control over whether I snore or not!" Michael said. "Sorry to disappoint you, your highness." He threw in a fake curtesy, glaring at Calum.

"Can't you try lying on your back or something?"

"But that isn't comfy," Michael whined, throwing his shirt across the room and pulling his pyjamas on. "You could try falling asleep before me, it's already past your bedtime."

"Haha, original." Calum snapped. "We have an unused bedroom in this house but no, it's Mali's and we're not allowed to touch it so I have to share with you."

"You poor poor soul. My heart fucking breaks for you." Michael muttered. "It must be so hard for you, having to deal with these first world problems everyday."

"You were complaining about being stuck here as well. Your life must be so hard, being a white kid growing up in a first world country."

"It terrible," Michael pouted, placing his hand over his heart. "I had to see your face this morning and it was mentally scarring. I don't think I'll ever be the same again."

Calum gave him the middle finger and left the room to clean his teeth, rolling his eyes.

"Calum." Michael whispered later that night. "Calum."

"What?" Calum hissed back, continuing to face the other way.

"I can't sleep."

"And..?"

"This mattress isn't comfy." He whined.

"You seemed to fine last night." Calum grumbled, rolling over to face Michael at the side of his bed. He could just make out his outline in the dark.

"I reckon that's why I was snoring so bad last night. I wasn't comfortable."

"What am I supposed to do about it?"

"Can I sleep in your bed?" Michael asked quietly, fidgeting with his hands.

"No, I'm in it." Calum replied sleepily. "Go sleep in the sofa."

"You said yourself that the sofa wasn't comfy if you're over 6ft tall."

"You are not sleeping in the same bed as me Michael. Not a chance."

"I'm sure you'd love it." Michael smirked. Calum glared at him, even though he knew Michael couldn't see him.

"I definitely would not." Calum whispered harshly.
