You sit there with a pillow between your arms. It was getting really intense, your eyes go wide as the music gets louder. You suddenly see a pillow coming towards your face, it suddenly whacks you. You cover your face, who knew getting hit by a pillow could hurt?
''What the heck Ponyboy! Didn't Steve to tell you stop doin that to me?'' You shout while smiling at him.
You look at Steve, hoping he would stand up for you. But he was too busy biting his fingernails and watching the movie. You roll your eyes and sit back and relax. You suddenly hear the door open, you turn around with Ponyboy, it was Darry. You suddenly sink into the couch, hoping he didn't see you.
''What the hell are you guys watching! This is a horror movie!'' Darry yells while turning on the lights.
Everyone in the room starts to groan as the lights go on. I guess their eyes were so used to the darkness, it hurt their eyes in the light.
''Come on Darry, it's almost over!'' Sodapop whines while Darry picks up the remote.
''You know what happened last time you guys watched a horror movie,'' Darry says while shutting off the TV.
''It involved Ponyboy sleeping with me, and him kicking me at night.'' Darry finished.
''Sorry Darry..'' Ponyboy sighs.
The boys stand up and leave the room. You just continued to sit there and stare at Darry. Apparently he didn't even notice you were still in the room. You felt like you were completely invisible around Darry. But you kind of wanted it to stay that way.
As you keep looking at him, you watch as he turns around. Darry suddenly makes eye contact with you and he jumps a little. You chuckle at his reaction.
''Oh my.. Hi Ana..'' Darry says while taking a breath.
''Hi Darry.'' You smile at him, blushing a little bit.
''I'm sorry, I didn't see you there. Why are you here?'' Darry asks while sitting next to you.
''I was watching the movie with the boys.'' You answer while shrugging.
''You were with them? Man, I'm blind, aren't I.'' Darry sighs while leaning back.
''It's okay Darry, I'm blind as well.'' You smile.
''You know Ana, I don't think I've never really gotten to know you,'' Darry says quietly.
''And I would love to know more about you.'' Darry finishes.
You smile at him. So you two start to talk about each other. And you two had an amazing conversation. It made you fall for Darry even more. And who knew, maybe Darry fell for you too. As you end the conversation, Darry says goodbye and you head home. When you get home, all you could think about was Darry.
The Next Morning
You lie there on the couch, half awake, half asleep. You suddenly hear a knock on the door. You thought it was a dream, so you didn't bother to go open it. The knocking soon got louder and louder. You groan and stand up. You let out a huge noise as you stretch. You start heading towards the door and you open it. It was Ponyboy.
''Oh, hey Po-''
''No time to talk! Must come with me!'' Ponyboy shouts while grabbing your arm.
Ponyboy runs to his car and pushes you into the front seat. He gets into the other side and starts to car.
''What are you doing Ponyboy? Why did you just take me out of my house like that?'' You ask while he steps on the pedal.
Ponyboy didn't reply and continued driving. He was going way faster than the speed limit. But hey, that's what greasers do. We don't care about them rules. Ponyboy soon arrives at this park, he gets out and opens your door as well.
''Thanks Pony, you're such a gent-''
''Yeah yeah, let's go!'' Ponyboy shouts while taking your arm again.
He runs into the park and starts to look around. He suddenly spots something and runs up to it with you. You were running behind him, but you didn't know if you could keep up.
''Where are you taking me?!'' You shout while running with him.
''Shhh! We're here!'' Ponyboy shouts while stopping.
You take a few breathers and than see what he was looking at. It was a beautiful dinner set up, you knew what was going on here. Ponyboy looked at you and smiled. You started to blush, but you just had to tell him.
''I'm sorry Ponyboy, but I'm into someone else. I can't accept this beautiful dinner. I'm so sorry.'' You say with a guilty face.
Ponyboy looks at you, his face looked like it was about to burst with laughter. He suddenly did burst out into laughter.
''Me? Liking someone like you? Ha! Yeah right!'' Ponyboy laughs.
You roll your eyes, typical Ponyboy.
''I was here because... Someone wanted to ask you something.'' Ponyboy says while turning you around.
You suddenly see Darry in a black tuxido walking up to you. He smiles at you and holds your hands. You started to blush pretty hard.
''I know we've known each other for like a little bit. But I feel like you're really close to me.. And,'' Darry takes a deep breath.
''Will you go out with me Ana?'' Darry asks.
Your heart skips a beat, but you said yes. And so you and Darry sat at the table and had dinner. You had a wonderful time, at the end. Darry kissed you and you two became girlfriend and boyfriend
