I decided to keep what I had on since Omar texted me to meet him at Chili's. And it definitely isn't a date, so there was no point in getting dressed up.

While I was in the mirror fixing my hair I had three back to back text messages. I looked at my phone and they were all from Bryson.

B-Bear 🐻❤️: we need to talk... 6:57 pm

B-Bear 🐻❤️: I'm so sorry. 6:58 pm

Suddenly growing nervous, I furrowed my eyebrows.

I don't know what he did yet but I feel like I'm gonna have to beat his ass.

I bit my lip wondering if I should text back now or later. Choosing now, I texted back.

— what are you talking about ? 😶 6:59 pm

B-Bear 🐻❤️: just let me know when you get back okay? 7:01 pm

— okay... 7:02 pm

B-Bear 🐻❤️ : I love you. 7:02 pm

— mhm. 7:03 pm

He is definitely not getting an I love you back right now with his weird acting ass.

I sighed and texted Omar letting him know I'm on the way.

I should've cancelled though, I miss Micah way too much.
And now I'm interested in what Bryson has to say but I'll push it to the back of my mind for right now.

I arrived at Chili's in about fifteen minutes and thankfully Omar was already there cause if he wasn't I was gonna leave.

I found him in a booth texting and when he looked up he smiled.

"Wassup Riah."

"Hey." I smiled, "You ordered already?"

He shook his head, "No, I was waiting on you."

"Aren't you a gentlemen." I raised an eyebrow.

He shrugged, "I try."

I giggled and looked through the menu, once I figured out what I wanted the waitress came right on time.

She was eyeing Omar alot but I don't care. Not my man.

As we waited for our food Omar sparked conversation.

"So how does it feel to be twenty four?" He asked.

I pouted, "I feel old."

He laughed, "Shut up, you're not old."

"Yes I am, in six years I'll be thirty and Micah will be ten." I sighed heavily. "My baby's getting so big."
