Jack opened the front door. Amelia was standing there, and he thought she looked gorgeous. But he wasn't going to admit it...

"You're only going shopping," he said rudely. "Not partying,"

Amelia blushed a little. She had considered the fact that maybe she was over dressed but decided to go with what she was wearing. A black and red checked dress and black tights with black ankle boots and a black leather jacket. Now her worries had been intensified.

Usually, she would have said something just as rude back to him but for some reason, she was speechless. "Whatever Jake," she said finally, pushing past him. She smiled at Dan and Ollie, who she hadn't met before. "Hi, I'm Amelia," she said to him.

"Ollie. It's nice to meet you," Ollie replied, returning her smile. "I hear you're borrowing my girlfriend for the day?"

Amelia nodded shyly. "Yeah... sorry. She didn't really give me much of a choice," she said. Her palms were sweating from the nerves.

"Maybe you should leave then? I didn't actually say you could come in," Jack said in a serious voice.

"You shouldn't leave your guests standing outside," Amelia replied, repeating what Jack had said to her yesterday.

"You aren't a guest," Jack said.

"Jack, seriously. Shut up," Hazel said from the stairs. Louise, who was standing slightly behind her and couldn't see her, nodded in agreement. She didn't understand why Jack was being such an arse Amelia, who he obviously fancied.

"It's fine Hazel. Jake just has a stick up his arse," Amelia joked. The four of them laughed. Jack scowled.

"I like her," Louise said, following Hazel down the stairs. Amelia's face paled when she realised her nightmares had come true. It was Louise. It was sprinkleofglitter. It was her sister's best friend.

"Yeah... so does Jake," Dan added. Jack blushed and stalked out of the room. Amelia also blushed. Did Jack actually like her? Obviously not. Dan was just trying to annoy his friend.

Louise had caught sight of Amelia and was staring at her; not quite believing what she was seeing. "Rowan...?" she gasped.
