Back to your P.O.V
Someone whispers your name, close to you.
"Yeah?" you murmur, eyes still closed.
"We're nearly home."
Your eyes flit open, and you look around for a moment, observing your position: Lewis' protective arm around yours, your own head resting on his shoulder, your hands tucked in to your stomach.
Oh, yes. Now you remember.
"Sorry," Lewis adds, seeing your momentary confusion. "But I kind of thought I should wake you."
"No, no, it's fine," you say quickly. "I needed to be woken up at some point anyway." And then, with secret reluctance, you sit up, head lifting off of Lewis' shoulder. Lewis shifts his position a little, withdrawing his arm, obviously embarrassed.
Adorable.
"We made it," you say quietly, smiling in spite of yourself.
Lewis sighs. "Don't forget Gadget Show next weekend too."
You nod. "Well, as long as there's no pub quiz there, I'm good."
Lewis laughs. "Yeah, me too." His eyes flicker for a moment to something beside you or on you that you can't see; but before you can question it, they're back on yours. "Sleep well?"
"Yeah, good thanks," you smile. "Did I - did I make it uncomfortable?" you ask a little awkwardly, looking down at Lewis' shoulder pointedly.
"No, it was fine," he assures you. He smirks a little. "You look cute when you sleep."
You narrow your eyes, fighting against the heat rising to your cheeks the best you can. "Cute? I'm insulted," you whisper.
Lewis laughs. "It's true though." And then he looks away again, to peer out of the window at the city that has become so familiar to both of you.
"How'd you sleep?" you ask.
Lewis shrugs. "Okay, I guess. Well enough to stay up playing Hearthstone or something for a few hours when I get back home."
You nod, and lean back in your seat again, feeling the coach slow to a stop.
"See you tomorrow," you whisper to Lewis as you undo your seatbelt and hoist your bag over your shoulder. "Don't stay up too late. You need your sleep."
"I won't, Mum," Lewis smirks. He claps you on the shoulder, and then turns away to sort out his luggage.
Home sweet home.

"Hiya, how're you doing?"
"I'm alright thanks." You pause. "I got back home okay."
"I noticed," your friend replies drily. "I tried to call you at about nine last night, but you didn't pick up."
"Yeah, sorry about that. I was pretty tired."
"Anything happen yesterday?"
"Not really," you say, balancing your phone on your shoulder with your ear as you rush around the kitchen making yourself breakfast. "Um, I played I Spy with Lewis on the coach back."
(Y/B/F/N) bursts out laughing. "You adorable nerds!" she exclaims. "Why?"
You shrug. "I was sitting next to him. He was too tired to think straight, and so was I, and we just ended up -"
"Sounds great," your friend interrupts. "Anything else?"
"He let me sleep on his shoulder," you say a little doubtfully.
