I'd Treat You Better (Jimmy Darling [AHS] x Reader)

REQUESTED: A jerky guy takes the reader to the Freakshow as a date & Jimmy sees how rude he is to the reader & steps in to help them out?

You had spent hours getting ready for this date, only to be treated like garbage. You felt so stupid for agreeing to go out with this guy. Your friends had thought that your love life needed some "major help" & thought setting you up on a blind date was a good idea. Of course, you were extremely hesitant to go, but after a lot of nudging from your friends & the promise that he would take you to the Freakshow you'd been dying yo see for weeks now, you caved.

At first, he seemed like a decent guy. He was very gentlemanly & hospitable, greeting you with a charming smile & an outstretched hand. He was fairly attractive with his dashing style & bright eyes, & had eloquent diction, showing he was well-educated. Overall, he made a wonderful first impression, so you got into his car & he drove you to the Freakshow.

The minute you stepped into the car & were out of ear shot from your friends, his malicious side became apparent. He gave you a rather disgusted look & said, "You are much uglier in person," he spoke, not an ounce of compassion nor love in his tone. You were so shocked that you couldn't even respond. How could someone behave so differently when in the company of others?

It only got worse from there. Throughout the entire car ride, he did nothing but disrespect you & shoot you down. You tried to start small talk & get to know him, but he just spat out, "God I can't stand your voice just stop talking," by the time you finally made it to the Freakshow, you were furious & ready to go home & beat the shit out of your friends for setting you up with such an awful date.

Despite how awful this date was turning out to be, it couldn't ruin your eagerness & excitement to see the show. You had wanted to see it for so long now & no matter what happened on this date, you definitely wouldn't regret getting this opportunity to see the show.

You both made it to the ticket booth & a very attractive individual was working it. He had brown, curly hair, a beautiful smile, & cute dimples, "Enjoy the show," he said as he took your ticket, his accent making you swoon. He looked at you & winked, making your knees buckle. Your date noticed this & gave the guy a glare, putting his arm around your shoulder. You rolled your eyes & gently shrugged his arm off before going to find your seat.

You found a seat near the front & your date followed you. You sat down, ignoring your date as other people piled into the remaining seats. Eventually, the show began, & you were practically squealing with excitement. Your date wasn't amused with your behavior but you tuned him out entirely. You were mesmerized by all the acts, but the last one surprised you.

It was the guy who had ran the ticket booth earlier.

'Introducing the lovely Lobster Boy!'

The Lobster Boy showed his hands to the crowd & that's when you noticed his deformity. Regardless of his hands, you still found him incredibly attractive & were infatuated with him. You noticed that your date had reached over & grabbed your hand. You turned your head to look at him & found him glaring at Lobster Boy again. You rolled your eyes & pulled your hand away from him, causing the Lobster Boy to smirk.

When the show ended, your date dragged you out of the tent & outside towards the parking lot where he had parked. He grabbed your arm harshly & released you roughly when you made it to the car, "I can't believe this! I take you out on this nice date & pay for it, been nothing but great to you all night, & tried my best to make this date great & how do you repay me? By flirting with some freak!"
