When He's Jealous (Quicksilver Head Canon)

Head Canon: How Quicksilver acts when he's jealous/when someone is being flirty with Quickie's lady

Jealousy level:

--- 6/10; Peter isn't exactly a jealous person, per se, he's just incredibly insecure. He feels that he's too big of a loser to be with you & he always worries that one day, you'll realize this & leave him.

--- Because he's so insecure, he's a little over-protective at times & it comes off as him being jealous. Sure, he did get jealous, but most if it was just him being horribly insecure. Regardless, that doesn't stop him from making your relationship known.

--- He always has an arm around you, either around your waist or shoulders, but when he notices a guy making googly eyes at you, he tends to pull you closer to him & press a kiss to your cheek. He did so in the hopes it would scare off the guy, & most of the time, it worked, but sometimes, an overly confident guy wouldn't be phased by it, just because Peter looked about as menacing as a marshmallow.

--- Needless to say, you had to reassure him constantly, but you were patient & you understood his fears because they were the same ones you had for him. Plus, seeing him like that was usually an incredibly cute sight.

                    -- "Peter? You okay? You seem tense."
                   -- "Yeah, it's just that guy keeps looking at you."
                   -- "Relax, Pete, I'm not going anywhere. I'll always be right here, with you."

How he handles guys flirting with you:

--- Of course, he had a different plan of attack for those super confident guys who just shamelessly flirted with you. Depending on the guy, he would do one of two things: suddenly appear by your side, greet you with a cute pen name, such as "Hey, Sugar Plum", & give you a sweet kiss or he would just zip right upto you, pick you up, & run away. He tended to do the latter most often, & it got annoying sometimes when it was literally over nothing, but most of the time, he did it at the best of times when you were being hit on by some sleazy creep.

                   -- "Hey I'll have a...Peter! Oh come on, he was just taking my order!"
                  -- "Well, he was looking at you as if you were on the menu."

When he goes overboard:

--- On very few occasions, Peter would go a bit overboard to the point where you would be seriously upset with him. Of course, you could never stay mad at him because he was literally just a puppy who didn't know any better, but he always went out of his way to right his wrong.

--- Although he loved spoiling you with material things, he rarely showered you with those kinds of gifts when you were mad at him because he didn't want to, as he put it, "buy your forgiveness". He had other ways of apologizing, like making you mix tapes & writing you silly little poems. He loved to appear in front of you, shyly & quickly spilling out the poems he wrote for you & then bursting out into a full-fledged quick apology. And if you were really mad at him that that didn't work, he'd let you beat him at Pong & wear one of his jackets. (Sometimes, you would pretend to be so angry with him just so you could wear his tiger jacket because it was your favorite.)

                -- "Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm just an idiot, hopelessly in love with you."
                -- "You're not an idiot & I forgive you, but next time, at least let me finish ordering my meal before you zip me away because I'm starving."
                -- "I'm so sorry I hope this enough."
                -- "Peter! Did you steal an entire grocery store?!"
                -- "No!....just half."
                -- "You're too precious to be mad at. Come here."
