REQUESTED: You work on the AHS set with Evan & it leads to fluff or smut?

------------------------------------------------------

"I can't believe they're making me do this to my hair," Evan sighed as he watched you wash out his freshly dyed, red locks. You were one of the stylists for American Horror Story & had been working on set for all six seasons, getting extremely close with the cast, especially Evan. You two were great friends, but you only ever talked onset. In addition, you were really shy & awkward around him, but that was secretly one of the many things he liked about you. You were just as awkward & reserved as him & it made him feel a bit more comfortable with his own imperfections; however, there was an evident tension between you both because of the awkwardness. It was clear you were both interested in one another, but neither of you had the guts to do anything about it, which only made things worse.

"I think you make a lovely redhead, Mr. Peters," you replied as you ran your fingers through his hair to style it.

He blushed slightly at your compliment, trying to hide it with a smirk, "What did I say about formalities? You know it makes me feel old."

You laughed, "Right, sorry Mr. Pe---Evan," you corrected, grabbing a towel & beginning to dry his hair. You tried to put all your focus on his hair, but with his face so dangerously close, you kept getting distracted. After working with him continually for the past six years, your attraction for him grew just as continually. The fact that you got to touch him all the time also didn't help either.

"I know you're a very quiet person, but you're being unusually quiet today. Is something wrong?" you mentally cursed yourself for forgetting how well Evan read you. He could read you like a goddamn  book. He knew all your nervous ticks, all your defense mechanisms. Hell, he even knew the difference between your usual quiet demeanor & your extra-quiet attitude you had when your mind was all over the place. He knew you too well.

"I'm okay," you said quietly, although the angry, swarming thoughts in your mind said otherwise. You gently turned so that you stood in front of Evan & the mirror, working on his bangs. You avoided his eyes as you sprayed some mousse into your hands, gently kneading it into his bangs. He concentrated on your face, trying to read your emotions, but your face was too empty for him to get a proper reading.

You stopped styling his hair when one of his large hands reached up & latched onto your wrist. He gently but suddenly pulled you down towards him, bringing your face level to his. You squeaked quietly in surprise as you were suddenly staring into his doe brown eyes. You couldn't stop the soft blush that creeped onto your cheeks as you reluctantly gazed back into his chocolate-colored orbs, "You can tell me, you know," he said quietly as he studied your face, his eyes seemingly tracing each curvature of your facial structure.

You swallowed & cleared your throat softly, your cheeks reddening as you forced a slight smile, "I'm fine, really," you reassured him, watching him for a moment before gently pulling away once he released your wrist. He sighed softly, clearly not buying it, but he couldn't continue to question your truthfulness, since he kept pondering the fact that you were so close to him that he could feel your breath against his lips. It was all making his heart race unknowingly fast in his chest.

You awkwardly went back to styling his hair, bringing out the lovely bounce of his natural curls. His hair wasn't as curly now since you had to cut & dye it for his latest role, & you really wanted to bring them back out, just so he wouldn't be so bummed about the newest hair color. In all honesty, you thought he looked gorgeous in any & every hair style, but Evan begged to differ.

"Can I ask you something?"

"You just did," you teased, smirking to yourself as he snorted & smiled.
