Oh Shit (Evan Peters x Reader)

REQUESTED: An interview with Evan with the reader as part of the cast. Evan & the reader started dating during the X-Men film, but it was kept a secret. James says it without knowing during an interview with the whole cast & lots of cuteness!

Everyone laughed at James as he said another inappropriate joke. There wasn't a dry eye in the interview room as even the interviewer cried with laughter. James was notorious for being an inappropriate jokester, so no one was safe around him. He was part of the reason you wanted to join the cast, although now, with your bladder about to explode from laughing so hard, you were reconsidering your decision.

"Well, I think I've laughed enough to last me a lifetime!" the interviewer joked, "So, let's continue with another question," the interviewer looked down the panel before her eyes stopped at Evan. She offered him a smile, "Mr. Peters."

He suddenly shot to attention, "Yes?"

"What was your favorite part about filming?"

He cleared his throat as he considered his answer, "Well, I'd have to say getting to meet my amazing gi---er friends," he saved, "Getting to meet all these incredible cast & crew members who ended up becoming great friends of mine was pretty amazing," he clarified.

You sighed with major relief at the close slip up & save. What people outside of the movie didn't know was that you & Evan had started dating a little while after filming had started. Your relationship was on the down-low because you were both really private people who didn't appreciate the world snooping into your business, especially your personal lives & love lives. In addition, you guys still weren't entirely comfortable with PDA since you were both really awkward, so that, too helped keep the relationship private.

"Very nice, & what about you?" the interviewer turned to you & suddenly, so did everyone else, including Evan.

"Huh, well that's a tough answer to follow. Jeez um..." you took the time to consider a decent answer before you spoke, "I guess I'd have to say my favorite part was getting to see the end product. Seeing how every individual scene turned into the entire movie was such an incredible & mind-blowing experience that I thoroughly enjoyed," everyone nodded their approval at your answer & the interviewer continued her question down the line of the long panel. Since the entire cast was here, it took twenty years to get through one question, so you kept zoning out after some time.

You were brought back into focus; however, when Evan whispered to you, "Great answer," he praised.

You cracked a smile, "Thanks, nice save," you complimented & you could have sworn you saw the hint of a blush paint his cheeks.

Suddenly, you were both brought back to the attention of the interview when James inadvertently dropped a bombshell, "I'd say my favorite part about filming was seeing Evan & his gal over there gey together. They would always watch each other film their scenes, offer advice & compliments when necessary, & they were just always so goddamn cute on set! It warms my heart seeing a movie bring two people so close together & so much in love," you & Evan both froze & turned to stare at James as the audience erupted into "Ooooh"s. The interviewer's jaw nearly dropped at the juicy revelation & you & Evan turned as red as tomatoes.

James suddenly realized his slip & gasped, "Oh shit, you guys didn't know that, didn't you?" everyone but Evan & yourself burst into laughter as you both continued to flush deep shades of red.

The interviewer instantly turned her sole attention onto you & Evan, eager to get the scoop on the surprise reveal, "Well, since your costar spilled the beans, why don't we talk about this steamy romance that started on set?"

Evan turned to James & playfully glared at him, "I hate you," the audience laughed & Evan laughed with them, trying to ease his anxiety.

"Tell us how it all started!"

Evan cleared his throat & sheepishly smiled at you, "Care to go first this time?"

"I'm so getting you back for this," you mumbled, "Well, um, as you know, mine & Evan's characters meet at Professor X's school when he was looking for his father, Magneto. I was one of the students he rescued from the fire...& the one he made kissy faces at during the process," another rose laugh from the audience, "Honestly, we didn't start dating or talking in a cool fairy-tale like manner; I just asked him to pass me some of the chips from the snack table because I fucking love chips & the rest is pretty much history," everyone roared with laughter, including Evan.

"So this happened because of chips?" the interviewer asked.

You looked at Evan, who nodded, "Yeah, pretty much," he laughed, "She asked me to hand her some of the chips & I did & that sparked a conversation about our favorite junk food, which led to asking each other about ourselves, which ended up with us sort of falling for each other," he smiled, "& as my girlfriend said, the rest is history," you couldn't stop the smile that formed on your face at the fact that he just called you his girlfriend on live television.

"Aw, how cute! Is it true what James was saying earlier about you watching each other film scenes?"

You nodded, "Absolutely! Evan's scenes are so fun to watch & you can tell how much fun he has doing them. They're just a total joy."

Evan smiled, "And her scenes are great to see, too. Her character is so much like her: sassy, funny, & kind, & the scenes she does are always entertaining."

The interviewer smiled, "I have to agree with James here & say it truly is remarkable how a movie can bring two people together like this," you & Evan smiled softly at each other.

Evan gently put his hand in your lap & shyly took your hand in his,  winding his fingers through yours. You blushed softly, but held his hand, "Yeah, it is pretty amazing how a movie can introduce you to some incredible & important people who end having a big impact on your life," he flashed you a beaming smile that made your heart melt & struggle to return it.

"That's too cute!" the interviewer exclaimed & the audience happily cheered in a chorus of "Awww"s. "Can we get a kiss before we go?" now it was Evan's turn to blush as everyone turned their attention to him, including you. He smiled awkwardly & shyly moved to press a kiss to your cheek. You both blushed & everyone let out a string of "Awww"s once more.

"Well, there you have it: they fought Apocalypse & fell in love. X-Men Apocalypse is out now. Thanks for watching!" the audience cheered & clapped as the interview finally ended.

You & Evan sighed with major relief, "Thank God that's over," you said, "Now we can go kill James."

Evan laughed, "We sure can. I think we should get him while he's got his face stuck in the dessert table."

You grinned, "Great plan," & with that, you both went off to get James back for revealing your secret relationship to the whole world.
