Brendon tried hard to not make eye contact with Dallon.
He paid as much attention as he could to the girl with the big dark brown eyes sitting next to him.
Brendon saw how genuinely happy Dallon was, even after breaking his heart because he felt like Dallon would replace him with Breezy.
"Brendon, did you hear what Josh said?" Sarah looked him in the eyes.
Brendon had been spaced out, all eyes were on him. He looked at Dallon and shook his head when Dallon looked away, anywhere but his direction.
"No, I didn't."
