I sat at the table again, not minding how happy Brendon seems with Sarah. I feel so many emotions.
I feel hurt and upset that she makes him more happy than I did.
"One day I asked God for a bike, but I knew God didn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked God for forgiveness." Josh said, and everyone laughed. I pretended to because I didn't really find it funny.
"Brendon, did you hear what Josh said?" Sarah asked with her perky voice. I have nothing against her, I just... strongly dislike her.
"No, I didn't." Brendon said plainly.
Josh repeated his not-so-funny joke and Brendon laughed. I can't tell if it was fake or real.
