The five of us were sitting on the game room couch watching a movie. I sat on the far right with Mason to my left, Ari (Arial's new nickname that Abi had apparently come up with when they were little) beside him, Abi beside her, and finally, Alex sat next to Abi on the far left of the couch with his arm over her shoulders.
Suddenly, Abi and Ari leaned forward, both gasping. "OMG, I love her outfit!" They both screamed in unison. They both looked at each other with wide eyes and continued to speak in unison. "OMG, isn't it cute?! I know right?! It's adorable! I love it! I want it!"
I covered my mouth as giggles burst out. The boys erupted into laughter, causing both me and the girls to laugh as well.
"You two are hilarious!" I cracked up, grabbing my stomach as it twisted in pain since I was laughing so much.
"Calm down, Sammie, or you're going to hurt yourself!" Mason laughed. We all continued to laugh for a few minutes before we calmed down enough to catch our breaths.
We sat in silence for a little while as the movie finished up. I sat up against the couch as the end credits rolled down the television screen. "So...what do you guys want to-" I started before I suddenly froze.
Images flashed in front of my eyes and whispering voices echoed in my head. Familiar faces, both good and bad, both filled with pain and victory, appeared.
A little girl with black hair and dark brown eyes appeared. Her clothes were tattered, and she was covered in cuts and scratches. She was crying and staggered around helplessly.
A familiar blond haired girl ran over to her and hugged her. Abi picked the little girl up, still engulfed in a hug. "It's okay. I know it's hard. But you'll be alright. I promise," she whispered into the little girl's ear.
Abi carried the little girl over to a group of women and ordered them with a stern face, "Get her to safety, and you as well." The women nodded and started to run back to the pack house with a group of children.
Abi shifted into her white wolf and ran a short ways through the forest before she came upon a group of people. Abi went to stand beside me on my right while Mason stood on my left. Ari stood beside Abi, and Alex was beside her. We all stood tall, our hands clenched by our sides, across from the large band of hybrids. But it wasn't nearly as large as how many there really were all together. This was a large group for us, but a small group compared to the whole group.
The girl in the image that was me glanced over at Abi, but even with the strong, confident expression I wore, I could see the smallest glint of fear in my eye as if I recognized something horrifying. Suddenly, everything went black, and a scream rang out, one of true fear and pain. One very familiar to me.
"Sammie? Sammie?! Are you okay?! Sammie, answer me?!" A familiar voice yelled, slowly getting louder. The images disappeared just as quickly as they had come and so did the screams and whispering voices.
I blinked rapidly as my blurry vision took a second to clear. I looked over to my left to see Mason sitting beside me, his body fully turned towards me, his face full of worry and fear. Abi, Ari, and Alex were right behind him, looking at me with almost the same look.
"Sammie? What happened?" Mason asked softly. I didn't answer. My eyes were wide with terror, my mouth hung slightly open, and my left hand was holding onto my wolf charm as I trembled in fear.
Mason grabbed my arms and shook me slightly. "Sammie, what's wrong with you?!" He yelled at me in concern.
When I didn't answer again, Mason pulled me into his warm arms. My head rested on his chest where I heard his thumping heartbeat. I continued to tremble, but Mason tried to comfort me, rubbing my back soothingly like when I would wake up from my nightmares.
"Hey, it's okay. You're safe. I'm here. Come on, Sammie, please talk to me," he whispered in my ear, his voice almost cracking.
I felt tears begin to fall down my cheeks. I started to cry, and Mason pulled me tighter to his chest. I balled my hands up on his shirt and let out all of my fear and pain.
I knew what those images were. They were definitely visions. But what they were of...I could only guess. But my guess was what worried me. But why? I had already had my visions, and I already knew the message. Elder Myanna said I wouldn't have the visions anymore. Unless...
"They're coming," I whispered through my tears. "They're coming, and people are going to get hurt," I cried softly, but I choked on my words.
Mason pushed me back a little bit to look down into my eyes with his ice blue ones. "Sammie...it's going to be okay. I know it's hard, but we are going to get through this. We are all here for you," he said, gesturing to the others behind him.
I looked around at them, but I couldn't help it. As soon as my eyes landed on one person in particular, I began to tremble and the tears leaked out again. My lip quivered as I stared at my friend who according to my visions...had a terrible fate.

"That was a great shopping trip! I'm so glad we got to go!" Abi exclaimed excitedly as we headed to the car after leaving the store with several shopping bags in tow.
"Yeah! I haven't had that much fun in ages!" Ari giggled.
I smiled at the two sisters. "It's always nice to get a break from it all. Plus, I did get this amazing outfit!"
Abi gleamed at me. "And that outfit is beautiful on you if I do say so myself! You always look gorgeous, Sammie."
I laughed. "Yeah, right. I'm a mess. You're the pretty one. I'm just the weirdo savior that has all these crazy visions and powers."
Abi shook her head at me and giggled. We got into the car and drove home. Once we were back at the pack house, I looked around for Mason.
"Hey, Abi, have you seen Mason?" I asked her.
Abi replied, "Um...yeah. He said he's going to be busy for a few days with some work, so he won't be able to hang out or do anything for a little bit."
"Oh," I replied simply. "Okay." I perked up. "Maybe I can help him-"
But Abi immediately cut me off. "No!" She suddenly realized that she had yelled and cleared her throat with a slight blush. "Sorry, I mean...he said you can't help him with this stuff. He would have asked you, but you just wouldn't be able to help with this."
I narrowed my eyes suspiciously at her for a moment before I nodded. "Okay, fine. Then I guess me, you, and Ari will just have to hang out then. And Alex can join us if he wants."
Abi smiled at that. "That sounds great! Come on!" Abi grabbed my arm and started to drag me away.
I sighed internally and thought about Mason. I wish you weren't busy or that I could at least help you out. I thought to myself, but I shook my head to clear it before I turned back to Abi who was still dragging me away, my thoughts of my best friend starting to dissipate out of my mind. At least for the time being that is.

Hey, you guys! I know it's really, really late, but I finally finished this chapter, and rainyruba really wanted me to publish it. She's actually right here next to me since we're having a sleepover for her birthday party. So Happy Birthday even though your birthday really isn't for about another week! And sorry, you guys, that this chapter took so long. It's not the best chapter; just something I threw together since I didn't really know what to write, and I have been a little busy (and obsessed) with Fairy Tail. I love it! I started it, and now, I'm stuck on it! It's so good! Anyways, goodnight, you guys. Have fun! Vote and comment! :)
