Chapter 10// He Was Annoying!

We pulled into a park space in the front of the mall. I unbuckled and got out. I've never been to this mall before so I wasn't familiar with it.
"Ready?" Kylo asked walking up the doors and pulling it open.
"Ready than I will ever be." I say walking inside.
I walk in and the smell of lemon counter cleaner hits me like a ton of bricks.
"Jesus what's that smell?" I say coughing.
"The janitors love to use that lemon scented stuff to clean everything!" Kylo says laughing obviously used to the smell.
We walked around the massive mall and we stopped at the food court. I spotted Panda Express so I immediately got in line.
I ordered my food, Shrimp Lo-mien, and sat down. Ben decided to get Chick-fila.
He came back with his food in hand and we sat down.
He got a sandwich and a drink.
I pulled out my fork and ate the first piece of shrimp I could see. I loved shrimp. I also loved noodles but combined I can't control myself.
"So that guy with the red hair. Hux? Why is he a bitch all the time? Is he on his period?" I asked scooping the noodles into my mouth.
Kylo chuckled.
"No Hux is just a more stubborn and stuck up person. He comes from a bad home so he tries to make it look like he's all fancy and proper but we all now that accent's not real." Kylo says smiling.
"What about that blonde haired girl? Are they dating? They would make a cute couple." I say sinking my teeth into the innocent shrimp in my mouth.
Kylo started to cough until he finally managed to swallow his food.
"What? No Phasma is a lesbian." He said laughing non stop.
"Oh." I say laughing a little bit.
In the corner of my eye I see a group of guys pointing at me and Kylo and whispering.
I didn't think much of it since we weren't the only ones in the food court that day so they mustn't have been pointing at us.
"So. Your real name is Ben?" I asked pointing my fork at him.
"Yes. Sadly I wasn't named Kylo. It sounds badass I know but it's not my real name." He says taking a bite of his sandwich.
Then out of the corner of my eye again I see the group of darkly dressed boys approach us.
"Who are they?" I ask trying not to draw attention to the group.
Kylo turned his head to the direction of the group and turned his head back and sighed.
"Shit." He sighed out heavily.
"What?" I asked concerned.
"Pretend to me girlfriend ok!" He leaned in close.
"What?!" I object.
"Just do it!" He said through his clenched teeth.
"Pretend like we were about to leave." He said.
I nod and grab my trash. Same with Kylo.
We walk side by side to the trash can and throw away our trash. We turn around and see a wall of terribly dressed guys.
Kylo reaches for my hand and wraps his hand in mine.
"Kylo Ren." One of the boys say with an Irish accent.
"Bala -Tik." Kylo says with a low deep voice.
"Who's the girl?" He says nodding towards me.
"My girlfriend Raven." He says untangling his hand from mine and draping his arm around my shoulder.
I was blushing so hard I couldn't even speak.
"Where you from." He asked.
I had to make something up. Something bad. I couldn't tell him I lived in a town as small as Cheshire.
"Brooklyn." I say with a monotone voice.
"Nice pick Solo." The guy says smirking.
"Yeah well you can change your tampon now." I say trying to get rid of the guys blocking our way.
Kylo looks down at me with shock.
"Yeah. You heard the girl. Piss off." Kylo says.
"Nice to see you Ren. Watch your back girl." Bala-Tik says shooting me a glance and turning with his group of minions following behind him.
"Tell me something I don't know." I say back.
Kylo breaks into laughter as soon as the group is out of sight.
"What the hell Rey?! I didn't now that you could be so savage!!" He says cracking up.
"He was annoying." I laughed as well.
"I'm liking you more and more!" He says smiling.
When he said my stomach fluttered which tickled me and made me giggle a little bit.
He likes me.
