Chapter 37// Ahsoka

This week school was cancelled. How great does that sound?! No school for an entire week just because of flood.
I was raining hella hard that night so the school must have gotten a leak or something. Thank god though because I don't know how much of school I could take.
It was still raining and harder than before.
The roads and some of the highways have been closed down because of the flooding so I basically couldn't go anywhere.
Then I here a knock on my door.
"Rey?" I hear Papa open the door slightly peeking in.
"Yeah?" I ask looking up from my phone.
"We're leaving." He says sort of quietly.
"What?" I ask confused.
"The city is evacuating every neighborhood in this county." He says sounding annoyed.
"So where are we going?" I ask standing off my bed.
"There are probably some hotels they're providing for us." He says looking around my room.
"So do I pack some clothes, BB-8 and her food and we leave?" I ask raising my eyebrow.
"Yeah basically. But we can leave BB-8 at one of my good friends house. She loves dogs and she's a good care taker." He says sighing. I could tell he wasn't too happy about it.
"Ok I'll do that now. What time do we have to leave?" I ask turning to BB-8, who was sound asleep on my bed.
"We have to get to the hotel by 1 so in s couple of minutes." He says walking to the door.
"Ok I'll see you in a bit." I say picking BB-8 up and putting her in her carrier. She was still asleep not bothering with me.
I grab a suit case from my closet and pack a load of clothes into the bag, not knowing how long we will be there.
I eventually pack all the things I need and all the things BB-8 needed. I was going to miss her but Papas friend will take good care of her.
I lug my suitcase down stairs along with BB-8 in her carrier.
"Ready?" Papa asks wheeling his suitcase to the door.
"Yeah I just need to get her food." I say nodding to BB-8.
"You don't have to my friend has some food." He says opening the door. I noticed he kept saying "my friend" instead of their real name. I didn't think much of it.
"Oh ok." I say with BB-8 under my arm.
We hop into the car and ride to Papas friends house. Hopefully their not creepy.

We pull into a nice house with a fountain and tall trees in the front yard.
I grab BB-8s carrier with her sleeping in it and walk towards the door with Papa following behind.
I ring the doorbell and I hear it echo through the house inside.
We wait around 3 seconds before someone opens the door.
A young looking girl opens the door. She had really tan skin with blue and white hair. Her nails were painted white making her skin look even more tan.
"Ben! It's good to see you pal!" She says wrapping her arms around Papa.
"Please come in!" She says gesturing for us to come inside.
"So this must be the wonderful Rey am I wrong?" She says putting her hands on her hips.
"You are correct! Rey this Ahsoka. Ahsoka Rey." Papa says introducing us.
"Hi." I mumble as I shake her hand lightly. I tried not to make too much eye contact because I am EXTREMELY shy.
"It's nice to meet you Rey. Your Papa talks a lot about you." She says smiling.
She looks down at the carrier BB-8, who was now awake, was in.
"And who is this cutie?!" Ahsoka squeals and clasps her hands.
"This is BB-8." I say opening her cage. I pull her out and hand her to Ahsoka.
BB-8 jumps and licks her face but Ahsoka didn't seem to mind.
"So do where's big R2?" Papa asks clapping his hands.
"He's right outside." Ahsoka says handing BB-8 back to me.
We walk through the living room and to the back doors and slide open a door.
We walk out to a HUGE backyard with a gigantic pool.
Then all of a sudden a giant golden retriever jumps on me.
"C down!" Ahsoka yells at the dog. The dog sits in front of me and pants. I look over at Papa who is sitting next to a much older dog with black and white fur and blazing blue eyes.
"Rey I would like you to meet C3PO and R2D2." Ahsoka says patting C3PO on the head. I do the same as we walk over to Papa who is sitting next to R2.
I set BB-8 on the grass and C3PO comes tumbling over sniffing BB-8. BB looked so small compared to C3PO. After they met each other they played in the grass and rolled out their backs.
"Come on Papa we have to leave." I say helping Papa up.
"Ok. Bye old pal." He says standing up to his feet.
"Bye Ben." Ahsoka says hugging Papa.
"I was talking to the dog." Papa says humorously.
"Bye Ahsoka." Papa says hugging her back.
We walk to the front of the house and walk to the car.
We get in and make our way to the hotel.
"She was really young like my age." I say out of the blue.
"She looks young but she's 63." He says turning the steering wheel as we made a left turn.
"What?!" I yell extremely surprised.
"Yeah. Good Botox I guess." Papa says shrugging.
"I think I need some." Papa says looking in the mirror at his chin and wobbling the fat.
"You look like a turkey." I say giggling.
"Excuse me?" Papa says laughing as well.
"I only speak the truth!" I say laughing.
"Well thanks George Washington for that." He says looking back on the road.
"No problem."
