Chapter 35// Fireworks

I eventually made it home safe and sound.
I walked in the door and threw my bag on the couch.
"Reney! Is that you?!" I hear Papa yell through the kitchen.
"Yes Papa!" I shout back.
"Ok dear!" He shouts back.
I go upstairs and turn my door knob.
I open my door and see Finn sitting on my bed.
"Oh! Finn!" I jump back startled.
He looked disappointed and sad about something.
"Hey Rey..." He says looking at the floor.
"What are you doing here?" I ask walking to my bed and plopping down next to Finn.
"I just wanted to talk." He says. His eyes start to water and have that glossy coat that happens when your about to cry.
"Finn. What's wrong." I ask sitting closer to him and rubbing his shoulder. I at least tried to comfort him.
"My parents are getting divorced." He says breaking apart. Tears streamed down  his cheeks and dropped off his chin.
"Oh Finn I'm so sorry." I say pulling him into a warm hug.
He cries into my shoulder as I rub his back until he pulls away.
"They've been fighting a lot lately and I don't know if I'm able to deal with it." He says sniffing.
"Finn. I know you can get through this. Together we can. You can talk anytime you would like." I say wiping his tears with my thumb.
"Really?" He asks giving me puppy dog eyes.
"Yes really." I say smiling.
"I know what will make you feel better." I say going over to BB-8. I pick her up and go back over to Finn.
I place BB-8 carefully in Finns lap.
Finn doesn't know what to do at first but he gets the hand of it. He slowly strokes BB-8s back and BB-8 closes her eyes and falls asleep on his lap.
"What do I do now?" He whispers to me trying not to wake BB-8.
I chuckle and take BB-8. She was so small. So tiny. So cute.
I set BB-8 down on her bed and kiss her head. She was like a tiny daughter to me. Only she had fur.
"So what about Poe? Where is he in all of this?" I ask Finn sitting down next to him again.
"He's out of town at the moment but I texted him. He hasn't responded." He says frowning.
"Well I'm here and right now I think you could go for some ice cream." I say standing up and walking to the door.
"Ok." He says smiling.

We get our cups and go outside to the set of chairs and tables. I pull out a chair and sit down. Finn does the same.
It was 9:30 at night so it was pretty dark out.
"What'd you get?" I ask Finn squishing down my ice cream.
"Just chocolate." He says scooping some in his spoon and eating it.
"What about you?" He says once he swallows the ice cream.
"I got strawberry. I love strawberry." I say squishing down my ice cream even more.
"Why are you doing that?" Finn asks laughing.
"I squish my ice cream all the time. One time when I was a little girl I almost choked on a frozen strawberry." I say scooping some ice cream into my spoon and eating it. I look over at Finn and he is laughing hysterically.
"It's true!" I say deafeningly.
"I know but it's funny!" He says laughing even harder.
"Whatever." I say rolling my eyes.
"So when you first kissed Kylo what did it feel like?" He asked calmly.
"Finn?!" I ask surprised he would ask something like that.
"What?! I'm just asking because sometimes Poe can be ehh." He says leaning back in his chair.
"I'm not telling you how I kissed my ex boyfriend." I say looking down at the ground.
I didn't really want to talk about Kylo at the moment since him and me haven't really reached a point where we can forgive each other.
"Common! It will help you get somethings off your chest." He says scooping some ice cream and waving his spoon in the air.
"Fine. In real life I wasn't really expecting it you know." I say remembering when we first kissed. I was so sad and he instantly made my day better.
"Yeah. And what else?" Finn asks leaning in towards me like we were exchanging secrets.
"It was like we were creating fireworks. Every thing was so passionate and ugh!" I say clenching my hands.
"That sounds like when me and Poe first kissed. Best and worst moment of my life." He says chuckling.
"Why?" I ask curiously.
"We were on a water slide and he decided to kiss me at the last possible moment. I ended up loosing my favorite wrist watch." He says rubbing his wrist probably were the watch was.
I laugh and get up to throw away my trash.
I keep replaying the moment me and Ben first kissed. It was an amazing day.
Of course I still had feelings for Ben but I didn't know they were this strong.
I still loved Ben.

Hey guys so I apparently have Wifi here so yay! I am so pissed rn though because DAISY DELETED HER INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT!! I am so sad and angry and upset it's like my heart was just ripped to shreds. But hopefully she will come back and everything will be good :)
