It was a week until they had to be packed and in Gotham. "Arty this is so much work!" He whined taping another box shut. She rolled her steel grey eyes at his whining. He had been like this for the past hour and a half. It was early and she had called him over. Sighing she stood up from her crouching position and rubbed her eyes. "I guess we could go and get breakfast" she said as his face lit up as he licked his lips. Taking her hand he dragged her out of the Queen Mansion and to her car.

They have decided to take her sports car to Gotham. They both didn't have many boxes to bring with them. If they really needed anything they would just drive back to Happy Harbor on Holiday's. "Can I drive?" He asked as she sighed and nodded tossing him the keys. He drove around as they both bickered over the place they wanted to eat at. "Okay can we just go to McDonald's?" She asked as he closed his mouth and nodded. All of their friend's were going to Gotham.

Whether it be to attend 'Gotham U' or to pursue other things. "Have you talked to Dick yet?" She asked as they got out of the car and walked into the iconic fast food restaurant. Before he could answer they ordered their food, grabbed it and sat at an empty table. "So back to my question" she said taking a bite out of her breakfast sandwich. He glanced up at her, emerald eyes meeting steel grey ones. "Yeah like this morning. He's been chilling at his apartment down there" he said as she nodded.

Dick had left a month earlier and got himself an apartment in Gotham. He was attending the GCPD's Police Academy to become an officer of the law. "He said that we should stop by when we're settled in" he said as she nodded. She then began to listen to his endless rambling until they finished eating. When they got back to the Mansion she they were greeted by a toddler. "Hey Lian" Artemis said picking up the two now almost three year old. The toddler had pale skin, long black hair and dark eyes.

She mostly took after her mother except for her skin tone which was all from her father. "Lian? Man Jade's gonna kill me" a voice said as Roy walked into the front foyer. Lian giggled as while hugging Artemis. "What's she avoiding now?" The blonde asked as Roy sighed running a hand through his red hair. "She's supposed to have a bath before Jade gets home" he said as Artemis rolled her eyes and handed the toddler off to Roy. "Now we can get back to packing yay!" She yelled with as much enthusiasm as she could muster.

Just to annoy Wally of course.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was during his downtime of course as he walked around Gotham. Hands shoved into the pockets of his jeans as he looked around. The last time he was in Gotham was when he was ten years old. Since he skipped a grade he graduated from Highschool a year earlier. That meant he would be the youngest person attending the Police Academy at the age of seventeen. He would be eighteen in mere months but it was still the same. He was still a little bit emotional after what happened to Jason last year.
His mind began to wander back to his younger technical brother. They always didn't agree on butt heads a lot but he was still his younger brother. Being one of the adoptive son's of Bruce Wayne gave him certain privileges. His surrogate father made sure that he was living in a suitable place. As in suitable the apartment was in one of the richest neighborhood's a couple blocks from the Academy. Wally and Artemis were going to move into an apartment complex a block over. Oliver made sure Artemis would have plenty of money while she was away from home.
While walking down the sidewalk someone bumped into him. He stumbled a bit but caught himself before he fell. Grumbling was heard as he looked down seeing a dark haired girl stuffing things back into her bag. "Sorry about that" he said crouching down to help her. The girl looked up for a moment to give him an apologetic smile. Her crystal blue eyes went wide for a moment before her mouth dropped. "D-Dick?" She stuttered out as he looked at her more closely. He would recognize those eyes anywhere.
