Her eyes opened hours later as she gasped and sat up. Head whipping around as she looked around the new setting. Her heart beat spiked sending the machine into an erratic beeping frenzy. "Woah woah Arty calm down" Wally appeared in front of her. His hands on either side of her head as he smoothed her hair back. The last thing she remembered was dancing with Wally. After that everything left her mind.
Taking deep breaths she slowed her heart as much as she could. The door opened as someone walked inside of the room. To her surprise it was Jade and Lian. "Thank god you're awake" she said walking over and shoving Wally out of the way. It was well known that the two of them didn't get along too well. "Bitch" Wally muttered as Jade looked back at him.
Dark eyes narrowed into a sharp glare. It sent chills through his body. He crossed his arms and sat in the chair sulking. "What happened to me?" Artemis asked, she felt horrible. Her hands were clammy, she was sweating, her head was pounding, and it felt like she had been stabbed in the stomach. "You were roofied" Roy said shutting the door behind him. He walked over handing Jade a drink.
Lian was sitting in her lap as she reached out towards Artemis. It wasn't often that she got to see her Aunt. "How, but, I was with-" she stopped mid-sentence to think back to what happened. During their time there Wally left her to go to the washroom. It couldn't have been more than five minutes of him being gone. The bartender seemed to take a liking to her. But of course she told him no and that she had a boyfriend.
It could've been him maybe. No one else was around her or her drink for the rest of the time they were there. "Water?" Roy asked as she nodded taking the water bottle from him. Her mouth was so dry. It tasted like the best bottle of water she had ever had. Probably because she was so dehydrated. "Roy and I need to step out for a sec, watch Lian?" Jade said placing the toddler in her lap.
Soon it was just the three of them again. Wally was at her side once again. Leaning over her and brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Auntie Arty" Lian said tugging on her hair. The young woman smiled down at her. Her niece was just so precious. "Can you make a funny face?" Artemis asked before making one herself. Sure enough the toddler did one herself as well.

Artemis and Wally couldn't help but laugh at her adorable face. The three of them all began making the stupidest faces they could. Resulting in the toddler beginning to giggle uncontrollably. Wally sat there, he couldn't help but crack a smile. Artemis was just so good with kids. Surely she would be a good mother one day.

Zatanna was in the middle of making dinner. It was just going to be her and Mar'i tonight, and now apparently Damian as well. She didn't mind the boy staying over. After all him and Mar'i were just best friends. "Yeah, just be quiet!" Zatanna hollered back. The sound of her voice traveling through the kitchen and down the hallway. Bending over she peeked into the oven.
