It was the first day where snow was actually falling from the sky. Christmas was coming in a month and she was heading back to Happy Harbor to meet her family. The ringing on her laptop echoed around the dark room. "Hi Gar!" She said brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Megan!" He yelled happily as she smiled. The last time they talked was three days ago.

His hair was getting longer and she had the urge to reach through the computer and cut it. "You haven't called in three days" he said with a frown as she nodded. "Sorry Gar but since Christmas break is coming up they've been piling on projects and work" she said as he nodded. That's when he covered the camera quickly as she heard whispering.

Raising an eyebrow his face then reappeared. "Gar what was that?" She asked as he nervously smiled. She also noticed how his eyes kept darting to the right. "Garfield?" She asked as he turned his attention back to her. "S-sorry" he stuttered out as she frowned. "Gar what's got your attention over there?" She asked as he paled. "Gotta go bye!" He quickly said ending the video call.

She sat there in shock for a moment before frowning. It was still pretty early in the evening and she had some work she could work on. Shutting the laptop she slipped her jacket on and grabbed her book bag heading out. When leaving the dorms the cold air immediately hit her. As she walked towards the library she began to think. Everything felt so empty with Conner around her and she felt awful.

She could learn to be independent! She'll show him how much she doesn't need him. The library was dead silent as her heels clicked against the ground. Even in the Winter Megan had to still look stylish. Taking a seat at a desk she pulled her books out and began her homework. Some of it wasn't due for a couple weeks but she had nothing better to do.

It must've been hours later until she heard a voice. "Hey Angelfish" immediately she groaned not wanting to speak with him. "Sitting in the library doing homework on a Sunday night doesn't fit you so what's up?" He asked taking a seat across from her at the table. "Go away La'gann" she said as he crossed his arms leaning back on the chair. "No can do" he said.

He was persistent she could give him that. "Heard about you and the big guy breaking up" he said as her eyes went wide. News really did travel fast here. "Yes we did but-but I don't care" she said as he rolled his eyes at her. Why wouldn't he just leave her alone? "I'm taking you out" he said as she scowled at him. "Hey as friends. I'll take you anywhere you want to go right now" he said with a flirtatious wink.

It took a moment for her to consider any and all alternatives she had. "Fine" she grumbled stuffing her books back into her bag. "I'll carry that for you Angelfish" he said taking her bag for her as she blushed. "La'gann we're just friends remember?" She said as they walked out of the library. "That doesn't mean I can't compliment you" he said with a wink.

It was pouring rain the day before and now it was snowing. Dick despised the way the weather had changed so fast. "Dick?" Zatanna yelled from the kitchen as he was taken out of his daze. "Yeah?" He responded walking over to see her cutting an apple in half. "Did you see the news?" She asked as he raised an eyebrow. "Was I supposed to see the news?" He asked as she rolled her eyes tossing him one of the halves of the fruit.

Mar'i was napping on the couch when they walked into the living room. "So he didn't tell you he was moving back to Gotham?" She asked in a low whisper. He groaned out of annoyance watching the news report. "Bruce doesn't tell me anything these days" he grumbled before there was a knock at the door. "Who could it be at this hour?" He asked walking to the door and opening it.

Tim stood there as he nervously chuckled. "Hey Dick" he said before being yanked into the condo. "Why didn't Bruce call me?!" Dick whisper yelled. Tim gulped running a hand through his dark hair. He took notice to how much his 'brother' had changed. "Your hairs longer" he noted out of the blue. "Surprise?" Tim said chuckling nervously.
