A/N: Originally Teresa's last name was "Leith" but due to a few changes in the plot, it is now "Bradley."

"BABY, COME BACK!"

I shoot her a flat look, walking faster, trying to hide the embarrassed look on my face. A few people look at me and my cousin weirdly. I laugh nervously, motioning behind me and waving my hand while mouthing, "She's not with me."

"YOU TOLD ME YOU'D LOVE ME FOREVER!"

I close my eyes, holding back the urge to flip her off. Opening them again to see where I'm going and not to make the mistake of colliding with anyone. I continue ignoring her.

Teresa Bradley, everyone.

Being let out of class ten minutes early because of a teacher meeting, letting everyone roam freely is definitely not a good idea. I say this because I do not like being chased by my cousin ten minutes earlier than schedule.

"Go away! You're an embarrassment to nature!" I yell at her when she spews out yet another stupid line of hers.

"You did not just insult me with an Ice Age line," Teresa suddenly says, sounding slightly indignant.

"I did actually," I answer, turning to face her with my hands on my hips, "What ya' gonna do about it?" I taunt her.

She narrows her dark brown eyes at me for a second before she suddenly charges straight towards me. I widen my eyes, getting a serious case of déjà vu before taking off. Like heck if she thinks I'm going to wait for her to tackle me or something like that. Excuse me, if I value my life a little too much.

Before I can properly begin to dodge people, I turn my head a little too slowly as I find myself crashing into someone just as Teresa screams, "Watch out!" at me. Books and papers fly everywhere as I crash to the floor with the other person. For a milli-second, I feel fear course through me as I remember what Ruby did to that poor guy that crashed into her the other day. Sending a small prayer to the man up there, I face the human that might or might not scar me for life.

Kayla blinks for a few seconds as she begins to register on what exactly happened. She doesn't get up for a few seconds as her baby blue eyes find me. Blinking rapidly, she slowly begins to collect her scattered stuff. "Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going," she apologizes even though she didn't have fault in us crashing.

"No, it's my fault, I'm sorry," I correct her as I hurriedly begin to help her with her stuff. Too bad I only get to grab a piece of paper before a few of my peers begin to help the blonde. In the blink of an eye, everything is picked up from the floor. She thanks them as they hand it to her as one male offers her a hand to stand up. I, on the other hand, am completely ignored.

Huffing, I stand up, brushing my backside. "Well then," I mutter.

Kayla smiles at me. "How about we both take the blame?"

I grin. "Fair enough."

"Bye!" She says, walking away but not after shooting me one last charming smile over her shoulder.

I drop the grin off my face as soon as she's out of sight, feeling extremely confused at how she didn't even get the slightest bit angry with me. I'm impressed. I guess the head cheerleader isn't a complete cliché after all. I feel slightly ashamed for judging her a little too quickly but I'm human, I can't help it sometimes.
