Can we just talk about that I made it to my 20th chapter? Wow! I've never reached that before because I normally delete my stories out of self-doubt😅. So... Drama will be happening very soon, just keep that in mind😉.

I woke up the next morning, feeling renewed. "You know what?" I muttered to myself. "If the bastard won't fix things, then his amazing girlfriend will."
So that's what I did. I called Carter, at 08:54 in the morning and gave him a piece of my mind.
"Hello?" He asked.
"I am so mad at you!" I raised my voice, wanting to get this spat over with. Like I said before, I hated arguments.
"Yeah, I figured when you brushed me off yesterday."
Ouch.
"You're not allowed to be pissed, I was the one who got stood up on a double date! I had to third wheel, Carter- third wheel. I think that was more embarrassing than the fact my oh so wonderful boyfriend cancelled our plans over a text message! So I get to be pissed, not you."
He sighed. "Can't we do this in person?"
"No." I snapped. "If I see your annoyingly gorgeous face I will lose all of my anger and I'm not ready to do that. Grrrgh! You piss me off so much!"
The asshole laughed. "I love it when you get angry."
"Shut the fuck up and listen to me. I want you to say sorry, and I shouldn't even have to be the one telling you you need to, even Jack showed me pity. Jack! Your best friend, who hardly even knows me."
"Okay, okay. I was trying to say it yesterday. I'm sorry, Branwen, I truly am."
For some reason I didn't feel satisfied. "I have the right of mind to castrate you right now." I muttered in annoyance. Honestly, Carter should have apologised at least over the phone in advance and told me he couldn't come. Rather than letting me sit there like an idiot, casting hawk glances around the restaurant looking for my damn boyfriend, who obviously is more dedicated to his god forsaken biceps than his bloody girlfriend! Not only that, but to jump at his text then deflate when I read it. I was livid.
"Please don't." He said gravely.
I let out a frustrated noise, a cross between a seagull and a foghorn. "Why exactly did you stand me up?"
"Well, coach demanded I stayed longer than usual because he claimed I was slacking recently. Do you want to know why? Because my mind is always on you."
Awwwwwwh. Wait, I was still mad.
"Cute, but you're still a dipshit. You owe me a date."
"Deal. I owe you a date."
"Fine!" I said.
"Fine!" He said. Then, a few seconds later, "see you at six."
--
So Carter and I went on our date, and instantly everything was going smooth between us again. We became inseparable- I even visited him when I had a free period and when he was allowed to skip class and train. Yup, sport was so important to his school that they allowed him to do that!
