I was awaiting Nash's call while I looked for something to wear to the mall. I had to get a bathing suit for a pool party next week.
I was just about to put my phone on the charger when my phone began to ring. I swiped right and up came the facetime with Nash:
"Aye! I'm just leaving to the airport, I'm running late so I just facetimed you!" Nash grins. I laugh and sit on the couch, "Good, I'd be pissed if you left without a goodbye."
"Understandable," he laughs with a shrug, "But I gotta go so I'll call or text you later!"
I nodded and smiled, "Alrighty!"
I hung up and put my phone on the charger and threw on some shorts and a red strapped tank top with white converse.
I grabbed my phone then headed to the Mall.
When I arrived I went straight to the food court, I grabbed cheese fries and a lemonade. I sat down and began to eat when my phone dinged from a text.
Nash: Yoo!
Me: Yahh?
Nash: Matt is trippin' he texted me that he needed to talk to me 👀
Me: Walk away man, I don't even understand why hes so upset.
Nash: Jealously.
After that I stopped replying, my stomach hurt from Matt and Nash arguing.
Matt is important to me, but not like he used to be. We were both young and he drifted away first. Then when I finally realized he was never going to take it seriously I just stopped being close to him. Why put myself through the hurt and ache of realizing I was never going to be his first choice. He knows Nash is only my friend so what makes him think he can get jealous.
I guess I should understand that boys do that but come on. You pushed me away and then turn around and act like you have a say so in what I do? Please.
My phone started to ring and I looked at the contact; it was Matt.
Me: What?
Matt: Are you and Nash like together? (photo above)
Me: No.
Matt: You're lying *tries to read my expression*
Me: Seriously, stop.
Matt: Stop what?
Me: Acting like you're my boyfriend.
Matt: I was at one point, Jasmine.
Me: Yeah, last year. I got to go I'm shopping and I'd rather not get in a bad mood.
Matt: Oh so now I make you mad. *shuffles around to change positions*
Me: You just want to argue, don't you?
Matt: No *looks down*
Me: Okay bye then...
Matt: Ok
Me: Alright
Matt: Okay, hang up *raises his eyebrows*
Me: You.
Matt: Really?
Me: Fine I will.
I hung up and put my phone in my pocket.
Now to shop.
