As I rinsed my hair in the shower, I started to cry. I didn't like that I was, I didn't like Sam all that much but I think it was more of the what-is-wrong-with-me. I obviously wasn't enough for him. I should've listened when everyone told me about him. Why didn't I listen?
I was blinded by the beauty I didn't care how he treated me.
That seems to always be a problem in peoples relationships.
Lust over actual love.
I finished washing my body and then stepped out. I decided I'd got to go to Jack and Jack's little cookout. I'd most likely wouldn't be the only girl because Stas and Taylor would be there.
I got dressed and said bye to Cameron, he turned out to have a photo shoot so I'd be arriving alone. In my car, I listened to music and bobbed my head to the beat. I had an incoming call which was Cameron, "Jas, Sam will be there and if he starts some shit punch him."
I laughed, "Will do."
When I got to the house I looked for Jack J, he was standing over the alcohol and I laughed, "It's like 2 PM." Jack smiled widely at my presnsce, "Good thing we're young."
I laughed and nodded, "Yeah.." I trailed off and he eyed me, "What?" Jack sits down and looks up at me, "I heard about the Sam thing. I can't believe he and Steph-"
"Wait what."
"Steph and Sam, you know because they- ... Ohh." Jack stops as he realizes I had no idea who it was with. "My best friend? Did he really, wow. I don't even know what to say." Anger in my body heats me and I'm just lost for words. I couldn't believe that they did something together. That isn't how I expected it to pan out.
"I'm sure it meant nothing," Jack says.
"He said he might like her," I say through my teeth.
"Oh," Jack says nervously. "Is he here," I ask. Jack just nods and I walk to find Sam. Instead, I bumped into Dillon. He smiled at me as his hands are on my waist, "Hello beautiful." He greeted. I smiled, he was the sweetest dude around, "Hey." I breathed.
"You good?" he asked. I nodded, "I am... Hey, what are you up to right now?" He eyed me a little then shook his head, "You've just been hurt, you want me as a rebound don't you?"
I laugh, "Not rebound, more of a no strings attached."
He nodded, "No way I would turn that down." I smiled and looked around, "Take me to your room."
"What, now, what?" he stutters looking around the party.
I smirked, "Mhm."
All my problems could be dealt with in the morning. I had to confront Steph, had to fight Sam then maybe another round with Dillon if he was good for it. I struck a deal with him and don't even know if he's legit.

I started to get dressed now, Dillon stood to the side and eyed me a bit, "That was better than I ever could have imagined." He laughed. I chuckle a bit then walk to him, kissing his cheek, "We definitely need to do this more often."
He nodded as he pulled his shirt over his head.
I slipped my heels back on then left his room. I walked through the hall while fixing my hair with a little spray from my purse. I saw Cameron through the window of the house in the backyard and I walked out and smiled, "Well well, you got out the shoot early?" He nodded and hugged my side, "Yeah, I was hungry and I know Skeez is cooking it up." I laughed and nodded, "He always is."
Cameron's attention is now drawn to a huge pole, he eyes it and looks to Jack, "Dude have you guys tried climbing it?" Jack laughs, "No, I'm not strong like that. Look at these little muscles." He flexes and we all laugh. "I'm gonna try, here Jack video me." He hands his phone to Jack J then jumps onto the pol scooting up and laughing, "Yoo this shit is kind of hard." He gets to the top then slides down laughing. "That's wild." He laughs then shows his hands which are covered in dirt.
"Jas look," he taunts me shoving his hands in my face and I squeal slapping him, "No!" He laughs more then chases me, "Cameron stop." He laughed loudly then stopped and started walking back to the guys. I shook my head and chuckled, "Gosh you're such a kid."
He smiled widely and nodded, "You still love me though!" I mocked him and laughed heading to get a drink.
"Jasmine.." Sam greeted.
"Can I help you?" I said harshly. "Wanted to see how you were..." He says.
I scoff at him and down my drink, "I'm just peachy. Another one." I instructed the man behind the bar.
Sam rocked on his feet as he looked around, "I didn't mean to make you mad."
"I'm sure you didn't," I said. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have people who actually care to attend to."
