Today was Madison's birthday party, I still wasn't sure I even wanted to go. But I knew I had to at least make an appearance since Cathy and Steph were going too. Cameron wasn't going to be able to make it, he was filming a video with Ethan and Grayson Dolan for his #20DaysofDallas. I was going with Jack Johnson, he would be my date. Cameron didn't really like that but I wasn't going to go alone. 

Maybe he didn't want to come because it would be awkward for me and Madison in the same room.

Or no?

I don't know..

I sat in the car as it pulled up to Madison's party. Jack J smiled at me, "You good?" I nodded, "Yeah.." then I shook my head, "No." I giggled. He laughed, "If someone hounds you, don't worry, I'll stay next to you." This was my first time going to a huge party of something that will be documented in media.  

"You look incredible by the way." he laughs. 

I chuckle, "Thanks."

We get out and Jack moves his hand to the small of my back. I relax a bit and we walk through the small crowd. Madison spots me and walks over with Jack G. He faces me and Jack then just smiles, "Hey, Jasmine, right?" I contain my laughter, "Yeah." Jack J chuckles, "How's it goin' so far?" Madison smiles widely, "Really good, that cake is crazy pretty." She begins looking around and furrows her eyebrows, "Where's Cameron?" 

I eye her and laugh, "Uh, he's back at his apartment." 

"He didn't come?" she asks again.

I shake my head, "He had things to get done." Her face falls and I hold my tongue from asking her why she cares so much. Jack J butts in and he clears his throat, "Uh I'm thirsty, you thirsty? Come on." and he pulls me through the crowd. I scoff and settle between him and the refreshments, "Can you believe her?" He eyes me and pours the drinks, "Uh, what?"

"She asked where he was, has she no shame?" I scoff once again. 

His eyes look over my face, "Am I missing something here? Because I'm lost as fuck." he laughs. I'm fuming now, "Seems like she only invited me because she wanted Cam to come." Jack laughs, "Highly doubt it." I roll my eyes, "Oh please. I know how girls think." Jack laughs more, "I don't you do Jas.. She's just curious. And she wants to get to know you." I roll my eyes,"Yeah get to know her competition." 

"Oh come on. You can't actually think that." Jack chuckles. "No, but I'm getting there." He laughs more, "Stop pouting, let's party. Look there are Cat and Steph." We walked over and I hugged them both, "Thank your mother's you're both here." I downed the champagne and set it down on a near by table. Cathy laughed, "Where is she?" I nodded my head to Madison and Cathy eyed her then looked back to me, "Oh."

Steph smiled, "I'm sure this will be fine." I nodded and looked down.

The rest of the night went good, Madison said sorry for what ever she had done that made me upset. In all honesty, I exaggerated. But I'm so replaceable, I get scared. 

After the party, Cameron was the one who would be picking me up. I heard people greeting him so I stumbled over and grinned. He looked at me and smiled, he hugged tightly and pulled down my dress a bit, "Baby, cover up, it's cold." I nodded and took Jack J's jacket as he offered it. I slipped it on and Cameron smiled holding me to the car.

"Your other girlfriend asked where you were.." I sighed. His expression changed as he set me down. He didn't speak as he got in and started the car. I laughed sinisterly, "She wanted to see if I brought you with me."
