~2 Months Later~

Matt has kept his word, he's been around more often. Last month I went to my hometown to visit my mom, dad and siblings. Matt had came to visit for two days last year and they all fell in love with him. This year he decided to come down even if we weren't dating, he left the morning after but it was good to see him.

This is my best friend, I believe exes can still be friends.

~Flash Back~

We sat under the stars and chatted as Matt held my little sister while she slept.

"Do you think there could still be an us?" He asked. I stiffled a laugh, "I don't know, I mean Cameron is in my life."

"But you guys aren't dating, he hasn't asked you out.."

"We went on a date, Matt... It shows something." I argue. He shifts, "I still love you. I keep letting everyone tell me that I don't, but I do. I have to see you with Cameron, I just can't help it."

I shake my head, "Matthew.."

He's eyes are glossy, "Don't Matthew me, you know you love me. I've always been straight up with you."

Truth is I do.

He has always told me how he felt. I need to put whatever I have with Cameron on hold, I need to make sure that I myself am ready to move on. Not because Matt, but because I need myself to be able to get my head cleared.

~End Of Flash Back~

Since then, I've told Cameron how I felt and he seemed fine with it.

In all honesty he seemed too fine with it, I didn't want to start thinking too much into it.

I haven't spoke to Cameron nor Nash in awhile but its most likely because Nash is up in North Carolina and Cameron has been putting the new MagCon together. I know he's busy.

I came across a small article about Cameron and the singer Madison Beer. I read through and it began to make my stomach hurt. Are they dating? Did he like her more than me?

Did he even like me in the first place?

We look similar.

Dark brown hair and colored eyes, only difference was she was probably a few inches taller and was much skinnier than I. I cringed at the photos, both photos were him and her.

One where he held her hand through a crowd and another where he held her from behind.

I clicked the off button then set my phone to the side. I nibbled at my already short nails.

She's really young for him isn't she? I mean he wouldn't see interest in someone that young.

I crinkled my nose and decided I'd message Cathy to help me look into it. I grabbed my phone and texted her.

Me: Cat, can you help me with something?

Cat: Yeah, what's up?

Me: There's a photo going around of Cameron and Madison Beer. Can you look into it and ask around?

Cat: Mhhm, girl, you know I can. I'll come over when I find something.

I sent her an "Okay" then placed my phone to the side.

While I awaited Cathy, I took a bath then cleaned up. I didn't want to get back on my phone for social media so I called Sammy, the guy who I'm becoming good friends with. I asked him to come over and he agreed.

I poured myself water when the door opened and Sam's voice followed, "Jasmine, what did you wanna talk about?" I looked around the kitchen corner and he laughed, "What's wrong?"

"I think Cameron is dating someone." I looked to floor as I swept.

Sammy eyed me, "He's not seeing her, at least that's what I heard. She's been around Carter and even Hayes.. I guess they're friends or she just a hoe." I roll my eyes and put the broom to the side.

Then Cathy walked in and looked between me and Sam. She sat with us, "So about the thing,"

"He knows Cat, you can say it."

She nods, "Well Madison and Cameron are friends, she also took photos with Carter and was seen out with Hayes. I don't want to start anything but I think its okay to say Cam is just really nice?"

Sam laughs, "He's nice? I don't know why I don't believe that, they seem close, but maybe I'm wrong."

I nod and look at them, "Me and Cameron aren't talking, whatever it is I should just push it away because I don't want to over think." They both nod.

"Pizza?" I laugh nervously. They both chuckle and nod.

We order then await it.
