Lauren’s POV-
“Lauren, can you take Abi out today because me and your dad are going out”
“Sure mum, it is Saturday!”
Me and Abi left early and judging by her moaning, she did not get her full sleep. Something tells me she is going to seek revenge but i don’t know when or how. Seiously!? I mentally slapped myself for thinking my little sister, who is 5 years younger than me, having revenge on ME! Maybe Mr Anderson is right, I am dumb! Well dumb is not the word but maybe not very bright..?/
“Come on, let’s go to ummmmm...”
“A clothing shop!”
Abi completely cut me off and ran ahead like a 7 year old!
“ABI!”
“Follow me”
I ran after her, grabbing her jacket.
“What do you think your doing?”
“You’re too slow so this is the only way to make you catch up”
“Annoying freak”
“Shut up!”
Just then a couple of my mates walked by.
“Hey”
“Oh, Hi Lauren” Amy was quick to reply
“Where you going?”
“Well were looking for a grocery shop because we need supplies for a party”
“Oh for Sophie’s party?” I tried to remember what Melissa was saying.
“Yeah you coming?”
“No because I have to look after Abi because Dad planned something special for mum”
“Yeah but where is she?”
I immediately spun around. She wasn’t there.
“She must have gone into the shop and I think she’s waiting for me so bye”
I ran away before Amy said anything. Where was she? I just thought for a second maybe she was taken. NO!!! Shut up Lauren! Don’t think like that! I ran into the shop calling her name.
“ABI!”
“WHERE ARE YOU!”
No reply.
“ABI!”
Her phone. I dialled her number and waited for her to answer.
“Hello, this is Abi…”
“Abi, where are you?”
“Please leave a message and I’ll call you back”
Voicemail! I ran up and down looking for her when I stopped.
I completely froze.
The ground was shaking.
But not like the slight shaking at school, this was a real earthquake happening right now.
I ducked under a statue like thing.
Just then a huge crack was forming, heading right towards Abi’s favourite sweet shop and Abi was in it….
