~TIANA JACOBS' POV~
I snuggled against the warm duvet covers of Julienne's bed and moaned appreciatively at the comfort it's giving me.
Until the bed suddenly moved forward.
Wait, shit, what the hell is wrong with Julienne's bed? It's so cool, it's probably bringing me to the bathroom where I will automatically get a shower.
Except, of course, no such bed exists.
My eyes fluttered open and I saw the a very familiar car interior. "Blade?" I croaked out, sounding like a guy with my deep morning voice.
"Morning, sunshine," he smiled at me from the driver's seat and I sat up. I looked down and I noticed that Julienne's covers were wrapped around me, keeping me warm in Blade's cold ass car. I looked out the window and realised that we were already out in the road, the sun high up. "It's 10AM," Blade informed me and I nodded.
"Oh God, why did you guys have to carry me here? I could've showered early morning. I stink," I said, hating the way my voice made me sound like a guy in the morning.
He laughed and he handed me a bottle of water. "No can do! You can take your long awaited shower when we get to the place," he grinned at me and I gave him a doubtful look. "I'm serious," he laughed.
I folded the covers and placed them on the seat next to me, realising that I was still wearing my blue cotton pajama shorts and my tank top. I sighed and Blade pulled over next to a diner and he turned the engines off. He passed me his Varsity Jacket that had the words 'Captain' written at the back. I quickly wore it and followed him out to the diner.
I got seated next to Julienne who looked dead to the world. She was leaning against the wall of the counter, fast asleep. The guys ordered for us while we were in our sleepy states and only managed to wake up when the heavenly scent of food hit our nostrils.
Julienne immediately went for her coffee.
I swear, this girl is never completely in this world if she doesn't get her daily dose of coffee.
I had a stack of pancakes on my plate, eggs and hashbrowns. I grinned appreciatively at Blade who grinned back, making me dive into my food.
Half an hour later, I was wide awake.
And that was the only time I realised that some people were actually with us. There was Megan, Alyssa, Jacob, Dane, Chris and Jake. It was just Blade and I in the car just now, so, I thought that Julienne was riding with West, but in all reality, that will never happen without an accident occuring, so, it made sense that Dane and Chris were in the same care they were. Jake, Jacob, Megan and Alyssa were in another one.
We got out of the diner and Jacob dived to the backseat of Blade's car, making Blade groan in annoyance. He walked to his car, opened the backseat and said something to Jacob before Jacob hopped out, looking like a small child who just got scolded.
I gave Blade a weird look and he just shrugged at me.
We drove off, the rest of us in the same cars, only this time, Julienne and I were awake and I was sitting in the front passenger seat. "Where are we going?" I asked Blade.
He sipped his iced milo and he grinned at me at a stop light. "You'll see," he told me.
"It's Winter, Blade," I reminded him.
"I know, relax," he grinned.
We took two hours for us to get bored - just kidding, we ran out of food - and pulled over at a petrol station. Julienne and I went to the toilet together and joined the rest in the convenient store where they were picking up snacks. I went over to Blade and he was standing in the chips section, a look of concentration evident in his face.
